Nice article. We may fall after Utah loss, but at least we're #1 for a week.
From the article:
The Spurs are doing it with offense, taking the No. 1 ranking in offensive efficiency from the Thunder over the weekend. They've scored a ridiculously efficient 114 points per 100 possessions on their 11-game winning streak, without one guy really who's really caught fire.
The Celtics are doing it on the other end. Get this: Boston has the fifth-worst offense, but the second-best point differential in the last three weeks. They've gone 9-3 in that time, allowing less than 90 points per 100 possessions, which is pretty unbelievable.
A Spurs-Celtics finals would be epic. Maybe answering once and for all whether great offense can beat great defense. It would be awesome for another reason, because it would mean that for yet another year, LeBron won't be getting the first of his 7+ championships.

Get the fuck out of the Spurs forum. Your tired old shitbag Kobe has missed more games due to injury then Duncan has this year. Vanessa 2.5 of Kobe's rings, bitch.
This is you. Loser.

Our play is what counts. The rankings are just markers and other than saying you are in the top few teams, mean nothing.

Foxsports still have OKC at #1, even tho they just lost 3 in a row...
1) Thunder:
A couple biggies in L.A. vs. the Lakers and Clippers remain on the schedule. Win at least one and it’s proof Kevin Durant and Co. are ready for this time of year.
2) Spurs
Gregg Popovich to reporters on the recent keys to a game: “Just make it up and say I said it.” OK, how’s this? Practically unbeatable when Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker are on court together.
