Houston?
Dallas?
Denver?
Phoenix?
Utah?

Phoenix, with Utah a close second. Might change my mind depending on how the last two games against the Suns go.

Denver
Houston

Dallas shouldn't be on that list.

Regardless of seeding, Dallas and easiest match up should never come in the same sentence.

Dallas (as of how they are playing right now, will change if they get it together, but right now they absolutely stink, easy win for the "history" count.)
Utah (no legit go-to players. Sloan has left, not impressed with the new coach)
Denver (again no legit go-to players)
Houston(Dragic & lowry together, along with post scoring and interior D, spurs win but wont be easy esp if Dragic gets hot.)
Phoenix (they are really starting to come together, always a tough out since they make a bucketload of shots).

Don't want Dallas or Houston

Not sure why people are saying Denver would be easy. The time we played them when they were healthiest was a 4 point win in San Antonio.

I don't want us to play Denver in the first round at all because they act as though they get paid 'bounty money' whenever that can take out an opposing player. Geroge Karl encourages it and I don't want our guys injured in the first round of the playoffs. And Denver will be happy to injure any one of the team.

hmm... I voted utah, but that is really an irrelevant option. They will not make the playoffs anyways. Wish they were not on the list, so we can get a better feel for who would be the easiest first round opponent.

Yesterday I would've said Phoenix, but after last night its Utah all the way.

Easiest = Jazz
Scariest = Mavs

Houston and Denver are a bit dangerous because they have enough talent to get hot. A healthy Spurs squad would beat the Suns but the Steve Nash pick-and-roll could extend the series.

People are sleeping on the Mavs big time. If they finish bottom 4 in the playoffs whoever faces them will regret it and i have the feeling it's going to be the Clips

Denver
Suns
Houston

I agree with this.

I would be absolutely ecstatic if we drew the Mavs in the first round. They're garbage this year and we could be the ones to annihilate them, like we would've done last year. Kidd and Marion in particular have taken big steps back.

Easiest is Phoenix, though. Utah at least has the bigs to take advantage of our front line, theoretically.

You don't go into the playoffs with that mentality, that's weak up if you ask me. I'd like to see either Memphis or Suns or both, it's revenge time, Spurs are healthy this time!

Suns. They have the same offense we do. Pick n roll PG with ONE true big and a bunch of shooters. Should be able to take them out easily

There are no easy outs in the West unless the Spurs can play defense.

How many easy outs are there if they can?

How many easy outs are there if they can?

With the exception of Dallas all of those teams are top 11 in offensive efficiency. I expect high scoring contests that go to whoever plays the best defense.

With the exception of Dallas all of those teams are top 11 in offensive efficiency.

So Dallas would be the only easy if the Spurs played good defense? I think that's what you mean.

Anyway, I don't think there are any easy outs.

I'd prefer Houston because they're closest. Less travel for the guys.

The Jazz would be the easiest win - but their physical play might rough our guys up pretty well. Not sure if we want to be banged up heading into the second round.

I want to play Houston just for payback of the 90s. Utah already got his, now it's Rockets time

Dallas, Houston, Denver 32-26 right now. Dallas up on Golden State right now. Hopefully Dallas locks up that #6 seed.
