In reference to the 2007 WCSF between SA and PHX:

The refs did everything in their power to give that series to the Suns. Phoenix fans think there are only two results from a game: A win and getting screwed by a conspiracy or cheating.

Truly an amazing specimen.

No clue brah; from the looks of it, it looks like a conference of some sorts. If I wasn't such a lazy fuck, I'd google it for you and find out.

He told me that the reason the Spurs didn't win 70+ games last season was because Blair was benched. When I pointed out that Tim tweaked an ankle and was out 2+ weeks around that time, he brushed it off.

We were arguing over the effect that benching Blair had on the Spurs the rest of the season.

I agree we get 'Jobbed' or 'F*cked' on occasion by refs, but 'Jewed'... really? I hope you're of my tribe, 'cause otherwise you are just a remarkable asshole. I get the sensation that you're the latter. Do you think that there are no Jews that come on these forums? Take your redneck speak and save it for dirty talk with your cousin or nephew. Show some class, you're supposed to be a Spurs fan.

Gotta admit that the complete lack of love by ESPN puzzles me, considering the fact that market size never comes up when they're talking about the Saints and the Packers all season long. Given their history, it's no longer a surprise. This is a good place to see continuing examples of it, and obviously other people are noticing them.

ESPN is in the marketing business, not the sports business, and they're going to take the path of least resistance to get there. So that said, can you blame them? Duncan and Popovich aren't interesting or cooperative when it comes to publicity. Parker and Manu are superstars in their home countries but not here. There's no local media to stir up any kind of stories that the national media can pick up. There's no drama, no battles of egos, just consistently good basketball. In this day and age, ESPN has no way to market that.

By the way, that second dunk by Griffin on Pau was a massive offensive foul. Why nobody bothers to mention that is equally puzzling.
