you have no room FkLA manu disappeared too

duncan also quit, afraid to try to grab a rebound

but you're right the tp must take the most of the shit he is our franchise player now

Manu disappeared? He was one of the few Spurs guys playing with any kind of agression, he didn't play well but he didn't "disappear", if anything he was trying to do way too much out there.

Manu needs to get back in top form tbh. Spurs arent doing anything with a PG, that routinely disappears against big physical defenses, as their franchise player.

lol good win Killa... though we've been plenty of nights around here watching this Lakers team and both you and I know you're not getting that from either Bynum nor MWP on a nightly basis anymore... Maybe Drew, but certainly not MWP...

We played like shit too, and that will have to be addressed...

I freely admit we are non title contenders ... but that long win streak has suckered a lot of folks in, with bowtie Bowen predicting Spurs/Celts NBA finals ...:lmao

This is gonna be the best win of the season for the Lakers (except for maybe the next 2 spurs games) so enjoy it Lakerfan.

he went to the line 2 times, thats two more than TP must but that still sucks. He took 8 shots 3 less than Patty freaking Mills... I'm sorry but he disappeared like the other two... I'll give you he has been less pathetic than Tim 2 rebounds and TP 0 FTA but thats not saying much on his performance.

oh and I agree FkLA we need asap Manu to become Manu again... he has been nowhere near the Manu we love since a while now... It's time to change

He atacked the basket many times, he just wasn't beign fouled. There were also a couple of times where he penetrated and just lost the handle but he was beign agressive and at least didn't look like a scared little chicken out there, which with the way most Spurs played today is saying a lot.

People are saying Bynum is acting like Kobe used to. Hard headed. Doing shit he shouldn't trying to "expand his game" even if it might be perceived as being detrimental to the team at that time. All in an effort to be great. So it got me to thinking. Kobe is a ruthless MFer and we know Bynum has a mean streak. In a way they are cut from the same cloth.

So I ask my ST brothers and sisters, which was worst:

a) Kobe dropping 55 on MJ or...
b) Bynum outrebounding Duncan 30 to 2?

Both were nasty displays of disrespect to HOF legends. What say you?

Discuss. :downspin:

Not as disrespectful when Duncan closed out the legendary Forum with 33 and 16 on 75% shooting in a 4 game sweep. How could Kobe and Shaq let another player disrespect basketball's true Mecca like that?

Pathetic effort on their part.

Other Laker forums are just trash that will exile you if you compliment another team.

This forum is pretty top notch and has a good number of quality posters outside of upstairs, imo.

Definitely have to go with Kobe's 55 point performance. Because even at an advanced stage of his career, Jordan still had gas left in the tank.

Duncan on the other hand, at the age of 35 is run down and depleted. So every time Bynum plays Duncan, it's like a man playing against a boy.

Still props to Bynum for the 30 rebound extravaganza.

If you're spurfan, i bet it was hard watching Bynum playing volleyball with the offensive glass :lmao

Bynum dominating wasn't unexpected, tbh. You don't expect Drew to have a career high against your team, but he has the body to really dominate.

What was hard to watch was Tony curling into fetal position, and pulling a Memphis. MWP making 3's without even flexing his knees was probably 2nd in the list, especially after he's been so awful from 3 all season long.

MWP has the upper body strength to shoot those 3's and the man is elevating his game recently and that's what the Lakers need going into the playoffs.

As for the spurs, like i said before, this spur season is getting similar to their last season, the pawns are taking their places, spurfan better start praying for a different aftermath.

What they need is less drastic -- they just need Pop to get a hint. But I don't know, maybe praying for a different aftermath would be an easier option. :lol

It's all good. You both make complete sense (I'm sure there are many others on here just like you, of course). Sorry to hear that your OWN fan forums suck like that. Maybe too many bandwagoners (REAL "Fakers", etc; -- don't take offence please....)?

I'm obviously only referring to THE COMPLETE TROLLS. NOT the ones who just want to talk about their favorite teams (or other teams they may somewhat like, etc) and not be bashed to death like you're on YouTube or something. :rolleyes
