In the coming days, the media will be expecting me to also bow down to their new prince. Well, I want to give them a little surprise.

Instead of a defeated candidate bowing out of the race, as we saw yesterday, let's show them a surging candidate determined to ride on to Tampa!

It's fitting since most of Ron Paul's support and the actions of those supporters pretty much exist only in cyberspace.

This and the other Ron Paul threads are fine examples. Not too much different from truthers when you think about it.

lol surging

"only on cyberspace"

:lol not knowing the world revolves around cyberspace todayIf all the internets bluster from Paul supporters like you translated to more than 9-12% showings in most of the primaries, I would believe that.

[Cue conspiracies and cyberspace delegate counts.]

"you can influence people without getting elected to office"

if the influence doesn't result in like-minded legislators and legislation, the influence changes nothing, which is precisely the case with Randian Paul.

Off topic, but is there any real reason not to be able to vote online?

movie/tv starts do have huge influence. lots of ppl watch movies/tv.Would you allow for the mere possibility that the poll results could be skewed by factors like multiple votes of fanatics and the participation of people who believe that internet polls are something a flailing candidate could hang his hat on in the face of single-digit results in actual primary elections?

take that up with TIME Magazine.

Don't shoot the messenger. But TIME's most influential list is a pretty respected establishment and worth noting.

irrelevant.

Any election wether online or real can be skewed. So at once you claim your own opinion to be irrelevant and actually answer in the affirmative.

Thank you for being so honest on both counts.

MannyIsGod

Well, if its in Time it must be so. If Ron Paul is more influential than the POTUSA, why is he bothering to run for that office?
