And the Spurs absolutely have to get better in the 4th. I don't know how many times this year they've had something like a 20 point lead about 10 minutes into the quarter only to see that lead evaporate to 7-10 points over the next few minutes.
Absolute Meltdown averted...

Lakers-related meltdown will only happen if they don't beat them AND would draw them in the 2nd round. All depends how the chase for the 1-seed turns out.

Shade under 20. Since he's been missing over 60% of his shots, most of which are from 5 feet and in, it stands to reason there will be a lot of rebound opportunities for him.

Glad the Spurs completed the sweep, but no chance they do the same in the playoffs. Might not even win the series. Prolly same for Lakeshow, but I wanna see the next two games with the Big 3 not looking like shit. Really makes the win hollow in that Pop didn't close with Splitter.

Yep.
I mean for Christ's sake, he can play his boyfriend for good minutes against virtually every other team in the league, but against Memphis and LA, Splitter needs to play 25 plus minutes a game, most of them alongside Duncan. Fuck the spacing on the floor. To beat LA, you need to limit their second chance opportunities and get a few second chance points yourself.

Tell that to the guys upstairs. :lol
I'm glad to see Tim's looking good and Manu's been headed in the right direction. Still a lot of troubling trends that don't bode well for the playoffs. Any post-season success with this team is gravy in my opinion. A championship is out of the question.

Sure but when he's missing shots (as usual this time of year), he's not actually spacing the floor...

Offense doesn't worry me, it's that a team like Memphis that struggles to score managed a double-digit run on the road late in the game. Splitter was also nowhere to be seen. The interior D was fine for tonight, but the perimeter defense needs to get up to par.

The last 10 mins were brutal... I mean, brutal... last season series brutal
It's funny to see Spurs fans pretend that the Spurs ever played a beautiful game against a worthy opponent. We've always struggled against good teams, even if we've won. We don't bury teams in points without giving some back. Sure we have ugly games, but some of that ugly is because the opponent is making it ugly. We look at their game like it's flawless, yet we are ahead of them.

tp sucked

If what I read is exact happy to see Manu and Tim stepping up after yesterday disaster. Apparently Pop (Tiago 13 mn:lol) and TP failed to do that.
Good win I guess even if Allen didn't play, he usually give trouble to Manu but the 28 pts 12 reb of Tim are good to see.

We were rolling on a 14 point lead... it's not like this was close at all. And as much credit Tony gets for starting the game on fire, he really laid an egg at the end there. Tim was great though

4 times in 7 games, fellas. 4 times in 7 games
4 out of 4 this season. I know it's the regular season but if the Grizz are so big of a missmatch for the Spurs they should have won at least one game don't you think? I have no fear of these Grizzlies. They just were in an extremely fluky zone at the end of last year, specially that fat fuck.
One thing is for sure, they won't be tanking to play us this year.

Flukey wins are the best kind.

No.
Pop and Tim are friends. This is a contract year for Tim. Pop doesn't want Tiago to look like he's a suitable replacement for Tim so that Tim doesn't get a max contract extension offer.
Pop likely wants to trade Tiago for a mid size shooting guard.
