With or without Bryant, Lakers are near unbeatable if Barnes and Artest each score 10+ points. A big reason they had so many games go down to the wire against scrub teams is because those two weren't producing for shit.

If those two can ride their current level of play going into the playoffs, I think you just might have to declare the Lakers the Western Conference favorite.
