Affairs, backdoor business deals...even "smart" people are dumb enough to think that those things are worthy.

Best way to tell is that you actually hear "taps" while you're on the line. It's very distinct. I suggest saying words like "bomb" and "government" in the same convo for a few weeks, then listen for the taps.
