View Full Version : Without Kobe, the Lakera are playing better than they were.

When Kobe's scoring for breaking NBA record and chasing for his sixth ring, his teammates were playing under his shadow and disliking the way he plays.

Without Kobe, the other Lakers are playing better than they were.

Bynum looks like a dominating center.
Session passes the ball and run the floor extremely well.
Barnes and Metta are doing everything- rebound, assist, score and doing well.
Pau is still one of the best PF.

Repeat, Kobe's 84 mil/3 yr salary is a joke.:lol

Amnesty Kobe next season and find a phenom then the Lakers will be a real title contender.

You're O & 43!!!

You're Rapist's disciple but he ain't give a shit on you and his teammate.

Rapist's ego is bigger than anything.

Cubby worships Rapist but Rapist ignores Lakerfans.

To love the Lakers and to love Kobe are two different things now.

To know Kobe more and wake up cubby.

28 mil salary in next season and 31 mil salary in 2013 are a joke.

I'm interested to see how this team performs when the 30 FGA/per game are added back in to the equation, TBH.

imo when Kobe's shot is not falling he should just stop chucking and get to coaching. He's getting to be so good at it.

D-Rob, if you had a choice would you rather win a championship with Kobe on the sidelines or get skunked with Kobe out on the court ?

It's (Lakers better without Kobe) is a ludicrous hypothesis. It's beneath you, FL.

I'm asking you nice now, don't do it.

Its simply that, D-Rob. Just a hypothetical question and not an attack on Bean. So would you rather win another ring without Kobe by your side or go down fighting alongside him ?

I'm not even going to deign. It's without merit, Crazy.

& you know it. You just couldn't resist.

It happens.

It's just surprising that FL stooped. I'm nonplussed over that.

I won't get in bed with you here, FL. Your query is based in the hypothesis of the Lakers being better without Kobe. I won't do it. I'm better than that. A damn sight better.

The Lakers are playing well right now, but come playoff time they have to have Kobe. Without him, the Lakers look a lot like the 2001 Spurs. Great big men with questionable surrounding pieces. Without an elite perimeter player like Kobe, Bynum would get doubled on every possession and they would be relying on Sessions, MWP, and Steve Blake to make a ton of open shots throughout the playoffs. Those guys are good role players right now, but I wouldn't be comfortable with them playing that large of a role.

But in the end its just a hypothesis. I dont actually believe the Lakers are better without Bean. I dont understand why youre taking offense to the question, Cubby. I really dont. But Ill drop it cause youre my boy.

Ludicrous Hypothesis hey? We could do the stats...
Overall Record is 39-22. 4-1 Without Kobe, leaves 35-21 with Kobe. Games are binary events - Win/Loss. We need what is known as a binomial test

http://faculty.chass.ncsu.edu/garson/PA765/binomial.htm

Thankfully, it's built into excel.

The 35-21 record is a complete population record of the Lakers this season, with Kobe, a win fraction of 0.625. The probability of the a team with such a win% going 4-1 in 5 games is only 28.6%. (Going 5-0 is 9.5%, all others combined is 61.8%). Stats says there's only a 38% chance that the team isn't better without Kobe. What's your threshold for ludicrous again?

face it culby, Kobe is more the TOSB than Duncan is this season.

you got nothin underfoot to stand on except your religion and all the world knows it's baseless and false except you.

It chaps your ass and chafes your taint, but it cant be denied no matter how much you parrot....

Ipso facto, kobe is the marquee TOSB of the season.

IPSO FACTO!!!
