View Full Version : Cubby on why the lakers are better off without Kirby Brant.

Tell us why it's a ridiculous hypothesis.
Giuseppe
04-16-2012, 05:10 PM
Okay, what the fuck, I'm a dead stick anyway:::because the hypothesis is driven by hatred, want & jealousy not by reason & empiricals. Until "you" can overcome {5-4 Kobe over the shit bag Duncan} you'll be consumed & ruled by your hatred & jealousy.
& listen, I don't blame ya. When they was comin' for Daddy late in the last century I was insensed, driven with such hatred as you are now. Consumed with it. They was comin' after him, not Kobe, but, Daddy, and they was comin' to high tech lynch him.
And you know what else? They was gonna have the time of their lives stringin' him up.
Uh, uh.
It's a sound one imo, but not enough data points to prove it out. It's like the Melo/Denver deal.

Sans the 5 NBA World Titles and that pass. That one to Artest that broke your fuckin' asses.

So Cully's response to the hypothesis is an ad-hominem attack on the author of the hypothesis, not the actual hypothesis itself
Sounds like a typical Cully argument :tu
Dale started off as if he was going to make a stand, then went right to the flag waving and scoreboarding shit.
So then, Derrick Fisher is better than Andrew Bynum and Pau combined for the Lakers, because Fish has 5 rings.
Sans the 5 NBA World Titles and that pass. That one to Artest that broke your fuckin' asses.
Past achievements are unimportant to this discussion. Though you live in the past, the topic is focused on the future, as in what will make the Lakers a better team.
It's not the first time this has happened. A couple years ago Kobe sat out a few games and Pau and the Lakers went undefeated during that stretch.
When your team's offense becomes one person's offense, you're much less effective than when the shots are not predictable.
:lol Kobe trying to get anything he can to be mentioned in the same sentence with Jordan.
:lol Dale Spambot unable to talk basketball, forgot how long ago, too busy waving the Kobe flag and advertising his "trends".

It's about how the Lakers are playing now sans Kobe.
It's pretty obvious.
You're mad as hell about it too, not giving a shit about the Lakers, just about Kobe. You've developed some sick fanboi love for that guy that's Springer worthy.

No. You ain't framin' this, daddy. Uh, uh. It's all about 4-3 Duncan and 4-4 Duncan, and then 5-4 Kobe. You could dish it at 4-3 & 4-4, but, you can't take it at 5-4.
And sweetheart, you've nary other choice. They're still takin' it at O & 43, and you're taking 5-4.
And that's just the way it's gonna be.

Also not to mention MJ played in an era where they didn't baby the guards. It used to be a big man's game, and hand checking/roughhousing was allowed by the guards. Now you can't even look at guards the wrong way and refs blow the whistle...especially Westbrook and Kobe.

Sad Lakerfan has to compare 29 y/o Kobe to 32 y/o Jordan to make it respectable...
What's even worse is that those 3 Finals were Kobe's peak, while Jordan had his better years already behind him during the 2nd 3peat.

Kobe got more double and triple teams than Jordan. the '90s and '80s were mostly man to man, meaning one on one. Now the great defenses have great schemes designed to limit great scorers. The defenses are not better back then, nor are they better today.

What does that has to do with anything? Those were absolute peaks for Kobe as the man. You take Jordan's peak and you're looking at:
31/6/8/53efg%
35/6/6/51efg%
35/7/6/50efg%
Which destroys Kobe's peak.

Actually their regular season + playoff minutes come to almost the same, Kobe had a couple hundred more. But that's nothing. So even though their ages were different, their mileage was the same.
And who cares anyways? Jordan's first 3peat is untouched by anybody. Combined with his 2nd 3peat, that is why he is the greatest.

The video in my sig is explaining to idiots like you who keep comparing the two why there is no comparison. Even Kobe says he is not Michael...and doesn't like being compared to him. So why must you insist on continuing to do it. Do what you will, tbh, but I feel sorry for you...you look like such an idiot when you do it..and it's constant. Sad, tbh.

There is a comparison. Lol have you been in a cave the past decade?
Woah... Kool posting about dick... who would've thought... :lol
He's had over 300 posts with the word "dick" in them in the past year.
300 fucking posts about dick. There are overt homosexuals who don't think about dick that much (Atif, for example).

He has over 300 about pussy as well, but you have to go back much further to find them, so Koolaid_Man talks about dick more than he talks about pussy.
I know, I know, not news.

And he played with Pippen. MJ couldn't do shit without Pippen.
It happened.
Kobe played with Shaq and Pau.
Kobe Bryant not only couldn't do shit without Shaq/Pau, he made the Lakers lottery team before Pau filled the void of Shaq's departure.
Now Thunders, Spurs, Heat, Bulls..are better teams than Lakers.
The Lakers probably can't pass the Clippers In the WC.
