Barnes is a pretty good player. I don't usually think of him as dirty. He knew he fouled Manu, and shot his hand up.

Yeah Barnes is kind of like a Bowen. He likes to be overly physical, talk trash and get under a player's skin. I wouldn't call him dirty either.

Don't be so reactionary. We already knew that Manu would probably need a good screen-setter in order to produce like himself.

Manu has only 2 pts, but 3 Reb, 2 Ast and 1 Stl ... he is fine

I'm not being reactionary - I can't remember when Manu last took over a game with his inside-outside demolition work. He's settling for bad 3s, not going to the basket. Need him to find his confident mojo. When he attacks he destroys teams - he's been playing passively for quite a while.

bklynspursfan
04-17-2012, 10:49 PM
This team needs to have that killer instinct in the 2nd half too. Timmy did a helluva job denying Bynum the ball towards the end

ElNono
04-17-2012, 10:49 PM
We need a 30 point lead going into the 4th, coz Tony quitting is coming...

wut
04-17-2012, 10:49 PM
Wave that fucking towel Patty!
:lol

btw, Blair can be unhappy all he wants...he doesn't matchup against the Lakers...and he had his chance to prove he could and he failed. Blair is good against other lineups.

timtonymanu
04-17-2012, 10:50 PM
Shit man. I missed the Parker move on Blake. Hopefully that shows in the highlights at halftime.

Crookshanks
04-17-2012, 10:50 PM
I don't have TNT, so I had to find a link to watch online. When I turned on the game, the score was tied at 39 - and then the Spurs lit a fuse! What a beautiful thing to watch! Hope they can continue this intensity starting the 3rd quarter.

RuffnReadyOzStyle
04-17-2012, 10:50 PM
Okay, now we have to avoid a 2nd half collapse like happened in Miami.

loveforthegame
04-17-2012, 10:50 PM
Gotta love the shot clock going off like that. Guess we'll see more of that in the second half.

Parker unstoppable. I see the Lakers using lots of traps in the second half so Spurs will have to adjust.

Playing the passing lanes much better, grabbing rebounds, and beautiful team defense.

Love this effort. Need to keep up the intensity in the second half though.

TJastal

Man watching Blair with his little pouty look on the sideline / bench is just golden. I hope this will be Blair's role on the team from now on. He can help Patty cheerlead for the rest of the team.

I agree, I mean refs swallowed their whistles in the 1st quarter and they lost 6 pts in a few seconds... so this lead is definitely not a safe lead.

timtonymanu
04-17-2012, 10:51 PM
:lol

btw, Blair can be unhappy all he wants...he doesn't matchup against the Lakers...and he had his chance to prove he could and he failed. Blair is good against other lineups.

Yes I'm tired of Blair's antics. He's lucky he's even playing this year. It's possible Blair would be in James Anderson's spot if we had Diaw all season.

Tim denying Bynum the ball toward the end of the 2nd quarter was really helpful.

Now, can we come out of the half with energy and focus??? Anyone???
