I am. I bet the Big 3 don't suit up. The guys might still be high about banging the homecoming queen last night and not worth a damn tonight in Sacramento. I hope I'm wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Drive for 5 baby! :flag:

I definitely think it's going to be a tough game tonight. Coming off that win and the Kings having 2 full days of rest.

Hope the Medium 3 do not suit up tonight.
Mission Accomplished in Flamerville last night.
Let Blair and Patty do 40 each. Give Bonbon 40 too.

Health going in to playoffs is priority 1.

K, I laughed for some reason at "the medium 3"

Since 2007s Champ they haven't done anything remotely "Big" so i just think it's overdue to give it a rest. Of course we all hope Tim hits #5 and GNob/Parker do 4.
That would be "Big". :toast

I fullly expect us to win by double digits.

Last game against Sac was tough IIRC. I'm thinking Parker might play, since he sat the whole 4th quarter yesterday. Duncan and Manu will rest. Blair can get 40 minutes and try to prove that he belongs, at last. This will be a tough game but the outcome isn't so important.

The Big 3-less Spurs are due for a win. That said, the Kings have been sitting and waiting for this game. Plus they've played the Spurs really well so far this season.

Hopefully the distraction of the Kings arena deal falling apart impacts the game. Kings fans have to be pretty upset right now so the players might not be able to totally focus.

You recall correctly.

The last game in Sacto was the back end of a b2b and the Kings were on 48 hours rest. The Big 3 all played and it was still a 3 point game with 5 minutes left in the 4th. Tonight is game 3 of a b2b2b, the Kings are on 72 hours rest, and Tony is the only one of the Big 3 who might play.

It won't be easy tonight.

I hate these kinds of games at the end of the season. The Kings are playing for nothing other than spoiler.

IMO, Pop will only sit Duncan. Parker and Ginobili will play limited minutes.

Even in this case it won't be an easy game if Kings are motivated because they are way more rested than Spurs.

Kings beat us at home earlier this season, so we've already had a letdown game against them.

Should win without the big 3.

With 6 other teams within +/- 3 wins of the kings, there's a lot of ping pong balls at stake for them. Kings are 2-8 in their last 10. They've shut it down for the season.

they're tanking. use the Phoenix/GSW strategy. Play everyone, get rid of em early, rest the second half.

See the minutes played by their starters in their most recent game:

So? Before that win over an Aldridge-less Portland team they had lost 7 straight by an average of 13 points.

The Kings should be tanking but with Keith Smart playing his starters ~40 minutes, it doesn't look like they are, tbh.

TP will start, but play limited minutes regardless of the score. This a perfect opportunity for Pop to make final decisions regarding playoff rotations and a last chance for some of the 2nd unit players to plea their case for playing time.

The minutes played by their starters are not indicative of a team that has "shut it down". They lose lots of games because they're not very good.

8th seed PHX is hosting OKC tonight.

Suns just might be motivated enough to hold on to 8th.

Rox @ Mavs, another game with playoff seeding in play.

I don't see a team that's playing very hard these days, but agree to disagree. In either the tanking or the just not very good scenario, I don't see any reason to expect a letdown tonight.

Against Isaiah "greatest rookie ever" Thomas? They have no chance.

Yes, I expect a let down. It's human nature. I don't want it to happen but I won't be surprised if it does.

Spurs kick ass. Kings blame it on the rust.

As long as one of Tony or Manu plays I think it will be close although a let-down is definitely in the cards as well. If we had a decent back-up point it wouldn't be as big of an issue imo.

If we see Jimmer for more than seven minutes, we'll know Kings are in total tank mode

I think Manu plays tonight. He's rested half of the season already. He also said he has no confidence or rhythm right now and needs time to work on it. I think we should rest Tim and Tony since they've played major time this season.

Rest Tony and Timmy. Starting lineup tonight could be:

Ginobili
Splitter
Diaw
Bonner
Neal/SJax

Does that make sense?

I think the Big 3 should play. Start them in the first and third quarters just to get the team rolling but don't play them more than 15 minutes.

A win tonight could be the key to earn the 1st seed.

Taking in consideration that we can lose one game if OKW win all then a win tonight would mean we can lose this friday or the game at Portland and we still being the 1st seed. Those games seem to be the most difficult games until the end along tonight's game (because it's a b2b2b)

Rest is important... but earlier we lock the 1st seed earlier we could rest too.

No. I am expecting a pretty decent showing. Win or lose, we just need to get out there and exercise and have fun.

Having exited in the 1st round last year, I am not concerned about seeding against OKC. If we get that far, home court might not matter.
