COLLEGE STATION, Texas —Which way to the Southeastern Conference? A Texas-based apparel company, Aggieland Outfitters, recalled a handful of T-shirts on Tuesday after they were ridiculed online for having some geographic mistakes. The maroon shirt has an "SEC" logo emblazoned on a mapped section of U.S. states, ostensibly representing members of the league.

But North Carolina, which does not have a team in the conference, is included and Missouri is not. Missouri and Texas A&M are both leaving the Big 12 for the SEC this year. Texas is on the back of the shirt, not the front.......

No, they're retarded. Plus only UT has fans that didn't actually go to school there.

The funny thing is Texas would probably kill to exchange their 'quarterbacks' for any of ours, even though we haven't picked a starter yet.

And as bad as the t-shirt is (that store is known for this sort of thing), at least they can get rid of them / donate them to some poor kids in Africa, etc. They're not a permanent embarrassment, like, say...

"Bojangles O'Blackface, seen here running from racist SWC cornerbacks, is just one of the more horrific selections from a generally terrifying collection of fiberglass phantasms making up the Legend's Walk, a former parking area now devoted to making children cry and giving something for really stoned students wandering the campus late at night to be terrified of in the dark."

A shitty t-shirt company's bonehead mistake of the states in the SEC footprint is a bigger fail than a series of Halloween-worthy statues depicting a black man fleeing would-be tacklers with an expression on his face worthy of him escaping a lynching? Ok...... :lol

Heard about that. I'll be honest, both A&M and texas have had MAJOR issues over their history with racism, and anyone who says otherwise is willfully blind. However, the only thing I can fall back on are my own individual experiences at each campus. in the 4.5 years I studied at A&M, I never had even one racially charged encounter (and my family lives in College Station year round now). Twice when I've set foot on texas' campus, a helpful 'horn (or t-shirt 'horn) greeted me with the "n" word.

Needless to say, as a black man, I've made my decision as to which campus I feel more welcomed on. Every minority will have to make that decision for themselves, though.

Impressive. Only places at UT where that happens is in frats or from people who don't go there. Frats are very racially charged though...other than that, UT has a very open minded community - even a little too sensitive at times

Greek life isn't very big at A&M, so I never really had to deal with that aspect of college life on either campus. Just relating my own experiences with each--not judging one to be inherently better than the other. Some great people and some bad apples at both schools.

Plus, it probably doesn't hurt that my family's always been a little more conservative than the average African American family, and A&M leans more to the right than texas.

Please. She killed someone (and may have been drunk at the time - the Lubbock cops should have checked). You're 'sensitive' all of a sudden now that it suits you - don't use the victim as if you actually care about him. It's transparently juvenile, and it's a line you shouldn't cross. No one is going to buy the 'sensitive / tenderhearted Blake' routine.

Why does this thread make your ass hurt so much?

It doesn't particularly. I don't care enough about Tech to start threads about every one of their issues (I didn't start any 'Rofl Coach Tuberville Tech Tard' thread when I read about his issues), but I will bring them up in every 8th or 9th thread of yours mocking 'aggy' or some other school. You feel compelled to start threads on any speck in other peoples' eyes, but take issue with me pointing out the log in yours in a post in one of them? Grow up.

And no, there is no "LOL Mrs. Tuberville' shirt - but if you want to point out PR black eyes, I think fraud/[possibly intoxicated] manslaughter are worse than mistaken geography on a t-shirt. You guys have pretty much cornered the market on tasteless humor ("Vic 'Em" t-shirts with Reveille / throwing batteries at opposing teams' players).

You're pulling the 'lol' part out of thin air; I never said the situation was a joke - you're trying to claim I did to score points. You pointed out a PR embarrassment for A&M - but it was an party unassociated with A&M making a geographic glitch on a t-shirt.

The PR embarrassment for your school involves your head coach intentionally defrauding investors, and his wife could be facing charges for criminally negligent homicide or intoxicated manslaughter. There is no 'lol'; I think your problems are bigger than ours right now. And again, I never even started a thread for these issues - I don't really care about Tech anymore - I only brought them up in your thread bashing A&M, which you seem to be fairly obsessed with.
