"They beat us like we stole something," Bynum said.
"Now we have to come see them (on Friday in San Antonio). It doesn't matter (if Kobe plays), we're going to win."

Thanks for the translation... I couldn't understand the whole "it down mader, we gun win"
Spurs have never heard anyone exude confidence after getting blown out. They need that in their locker room for motivation.
Are you kidding? I would rather try the ubuntu line.

Well, let's see what happens on Friday. Hopefully Bynum and Blake don't do anything crazy. I'm kind of concerned for Manu tbh.

That's all Bynum needs is to be suspended. Nothing is going to happen against LA. It's the meaningless shit games where players are playing out of control that I worry about.

I agree with you rationally. But Bynum seems to do stupid things in the heat of the moment. I still remember the Gerald Wallace/JJ incidents and I just don't trust him or Blake not to do something out of frustration. That said, I'm thinking that as long as it's a competitive game nothing serious should happen.
I'm just hoping everybody can stay healthy here but I'm concerned a bit because Manu seems to have a knack for running into problems while playing too hard.

The only thing to take from that interview is that the game got into Bynum's head. When guys start talking like that, they're halfway to being beaten already. (Remember when the Spurs met the Jazz in the WCF? Like that.) I don't think the Spurs need that, or anything else, for motivation. But if Mike Brown can't get Bynum settled down, the Lakers are cooked. Because he's their biggest edge on the Spurs. If he's not focused, they're in trouble.
As for Bynum doing something stupid to hurt another player? He's capable of it any time. Some of the dirtiest shots I've seen over the last several years have come from him. I think this next game will be close. But if the Spurs do manage to open up another big lead, that pinhead is definitely capable of taking a cheap shot. And he's so damn big and strong, that it's a little scarier than the average cheap shot.

Disagree with this. Bynum is one of the most immature guys in the league and he doesn't give a fuck about anything. If anyone would get suspended for a cheap shot in game 82, it'd be him. It's kinda scary that he and Artest are on the same team, tbh. Still, we can't be afraid of them, because that just plays into their hands.

Bynum is incapable of being disciplined. Remember how he got benched for shooting a horrible 3 by Brown, and to the media was basically like, "I'll keep shooting them too."
Then this latest incident with the interrupting the female reporter and walking off before she concluded the interview. The only thing missing from his temper tantrum were tears tbh.

Bynum gets frustrated so easily its really hard to predict what he will pull.
The best/worst scenario:
The Lakers are basically out of a playoff game. Bynum has not played well and gets packed/stripped, embarrassed, and thinks he is fouled but nothing is called. Mike Brown does not "defend" him with a ref rant...
Does he take it out on the opposition, ref, his team, all of the aforementioned...?

Best case scenario...Blair is in the game for 15 seconds, strips Bynum of the ball raking him across the face in the process with no foul call...Bynum goes ape shit and takes a swing at Blair...Blair responds with a roundhouse to the nose...Both get tossed. Bynum has to play with a face mask in the playoffs and Blair is suspended forcing Pop to use Splitter...:ihit

A roundhouse to the nose..lol..I really doubt Dejuan's stubby legs would reach bynums face..unless maybe it was some crazy "jump in the air and kick" Matrix sh-t!? haha but seriously Andrew Bynum is an idiot and I would NOT want him on the Spurs(and I mean that).
We can count on the Lakers coming out focused and intense on Friday night. As a couple of people here have indicated, Bynum will want to "show them Spurs a thing or two". He will likely be shoving that elbow out below the basket, and if the refs call it for us (who knows?) he will be in early foul trouble.
But Brown knows what a flake he is and is likely to have him on meds to keep him from going off.

I don't know if they believe in bulletin board material, but they do believe in Santa Claus. :downspin::downspin::downspin:

Bynum looked pretty pissed after tha game on Wednesday, and is too inmature to control his temper. I think he throws some cheap shots on Friday and hopefully, they don't result in any Spur injuries. The guys a total assmunch. LA breeds them that way.

Before the game, both coaches may have a conference with the officials about what can happen. If Bynum crosses the line, I dont think it will be Blair that does the damage. I say it will be Stephen Jackson with a "legal" kick to Bynum's balls. Or a dunk that goes wrong and breaks his nose. But I think SJax is the man to do it.

I think Blair needs to take off a game again.

What I don't like is that even if Bynum does something really nasty tonight, Stern will suspend him for the exact number of games required so that he's back for round 2 of the playoffs.

Spurs Win By 5.... 106-101
Bynum Will Play Well, But Kobe Will Probably Come In And Shoot 7 For 24....

Bynum with 2 rebounds tonight. And did you see him on the bench at the end? Not to mention when he was yelling and shaking his fist during the timeout. He was mad because the help defense wasn't coming - he's supposed to be such a badass that he doesn't need help.
The first blowout win got in Bynum's head, but this one REALLY got to him. I'll say it again, If Mike Brown can't get him settled down, I wouldn't mind meeting them in the playoffs at all. And I don't think he'll settle down from this.
