Surprisingly, I find him less annoying than Lebron.

Anyway, go Spurs!

This should be a win for the Spurs, no matter who we trot out there. The Lakers' chemistry will be a factor tonight by adding Kobe and subtracting minutes for other rotational role players. We'll see, I guess, but Kobe won't probably be playing a bunch of minutes anyway.

Probably because it's easier to beat a team that has Kobe inefficiently absorbing touches than Lebron efficiently distributing them.

Actually it has a lot more to do with Lebron being a bully and the rest of the heat team following lead. They're a bunch of thugs. Someone needs to bully Lebron.

Are you too much of a moron to understand a simple prediction?

Someone needs to bully Lebron.

They have; their names were Bruce Bowen, Paul Pierce, and Shawn Marion.

This.

It's nice having an enforcer type back on the roster. Seems to be a trend that when we have bruisers who aren't afraid to lay down a beating, we win rings.

Mario Elie - ring
Kevin Willis - ring
Bruce Bowen - ring
Robert Horry - ring

Stephen Jackson - eyeballing the jewelry store...

Guess Rodman was the exception to that rule. :depressed

SJ is what is going to prevent teams from going flagrant on our guys. Even MJ had an enforcer.

There's a lot of things I'd call Lebron, but bully isn't one of them. If anything, he's not enough of a bully, especially when the time comes for him to take over.

He has filled out the rest of his body and instead of running into a wall, people end up hitting a bouncy wall that knocks them to the floor in a harsh manner.

He just seems scared out there sometimes.

I think Kobe return hurts Lakers more than helps tonight. Good timing for us.

You're right, the name may be too much of a compliment for him. He's at the point where he picks on smaller players though. I don't watch him enough to ever see him pick on bigger players though, not that there are very many bigger players than him.

End rant.

Sweet, now kobe can take all their shots and take the rest of his team out of rhythm.

I think this being the first game back from an injury kobe will defer a little more then usual
he seemed to understand that he doesnt to need 30 shots a game to win in interviews
but this is kobe and hes been doing this for what 16 seasons now and nothings changed, so who knows

Spurs shouldnt give kobe any respect and double him
just play him and straight up and stop bynum from catching deep in the paint
they should also play gasol closely, hes mostly a jump shooter now

L.A definitely will play motivated tonight after the last beatdown, im just hoping they dont throw those cheapshots out after the last game if it is a blowout

Not many, if any, can bully Lebron.

Great argument.

Surely Kobe in Cleveland could had won 2 or 3 titles with Ilgauskas or Mo Williams. Of course he could defeat the Pistons with Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden. He wasn't enable to do it with Shaq but Drew Gooden was a lot better.

And surely LeBron being the robin of Shaq or playing with Gasol/Bynum/Odom never could had won a title. Jamison,Varejao and Ilgauskas are much better players.

Right now LeBron is a better player than Kobe. It's not even close.

Insert LeBron in the Lakers for Kobe and they would be the number one favourites to win it all by far.
