Nope, he plays left miedfilder on a 4-3-1-2. It's similar to left winger but not quite the same, as a left miedfielder he has to play more on the inside than as a left winger.. Either way, Di Maria can easily play as a winger on either side, he can play a bit of offensive miedfielder on the center too, that's kinda the role he's playing with Argentina and where Mourinho used to play him a bit last season.

What I would worry about with Bale is off-field issues. Brits (Welsh, in this case) don't generally travel well, and Bale is known to be a homebody. He needs to learn the language and integrate if he's going to be truly successful, imo. REAL is a lifestyle as much as it is a team. He'd better get used to the spotlight, one that's much, much brighter than anything he had at Tottenham
