It was in the third quater, around 3:20 back, after a timeout, I shazamed it, but it couldn't find it.

Sounds like club music. No way I'd ever know what it was. Sorry.

Mills is looking like a bust more and more everyday.

Can't really say he's a bust when he's nothing more than a 3rd stringer. But yeah he's been struggling lately.

And he hits the 3! :lol

All he has to do is stay above room temperature until next year when Joseph takes the third point guard spot.

Glad that Sjax now has a little bit confidence. His role is very big in the PO you really have to worry if his shooting is bad.

Jack is slowly but surely getting his wind back and his legs back. He's going to hit his stride just about the time the Spurs really need him in the playoffs.

I hope the Spurs secure the best record in the NBA this year. It determines home court advantage in the Finals, which is critically important.

Honestly, the only two teams from the East that can make the Finals are Miami and Chicago. Between those two teams, I would rather see Chicago. We are going to want home court against either of them, though.

NASpurs
04-22-2012, 08:42 PM
Chicago still has Indiana but I don't think Indiana cares one way or another for that game since they're locked in for that third seed win or lose. Their last game is against the Cavs. Maybe Thibs will rest players for that game.

Spurs may win out, but I doubt they'll catch the Bulls for the overall best record. Though, Indy may want to get a playoff preview game against the Bulls to warm up. They are at home as well, so they won't tank it. We'll see what happens.

Manu is getting his rhythm baby!!! hes starting to get in gear...this team is peaking at the perfect time! Im not worried about a single team in the NBA im just worried about health...if healthy we have a good chance at winning another ring! BELIEVE!

For the last time, who gives a shit. The Bulls won't get past the old big 3 AND the young big 3.
I'm not sure the Heat will get by Indy. The Spurs can beat either without homecourt regardless.

04-22-2012, 09:47 PM
:lmao

It's the same reason why the Thunder have a zero percent chance to win the championship this year.

Will people ever learn? Youth is a major negative in the playoffs, and depth is nearly irrelevant. It sure helps in the regular season though...

Heat in 5.

Pretty much this is true unless there's a huge height or athleticism advantage by the younger team.

Good outcome, but Tony Parker was far too passive scoring wise and left it all to Manu and Green.

Diaw did well but needs to step it up another notch, especially when Duncan is resting.

Team misses out on scoring mark: The Spurs were unsuccessful in their bid to become the first team in NBA history to win five consecutive games by at least 21 points. They join nine other teams, most recently the Chicago Bulls earlier this season, to win four straight by that margin.

The Spurs’ victory was their seventh consecutive triumph by at least 10 points. That feat has happened twice in team history — the 1997-98 and 1977-78 teams each won seven in a row by double figures.

The 97-98 Spurs were a healthy Elliott from playing the Bulls in the Finals. Didn't help that Duncan sprained his ankle either...

TampaDude
04-23-2012, 12:56 AM
The Spurs (except for Duncan) were just shooting some shots...just beating a team they were supposed to beat...no surprises there. :toast

Height, yes/maybe. Athleticism, no. Experience trumps athleticism in the playoffs 99 times out of 100 as defense becomes grittier, fouls get called less and offense slows to a crawl at times.

There are anomalies too. The Grizzlies played like an experienced team in the playoffs last year.

T Park

Battier had a lot to do with that.
