View Full Version : Are the Lakers trying to tank this game? (OKC)

I only ask because while not watching the game closely I notice that Parker's biggest fan, Jordan Hill, :cheer is already in the game, and if I recall he didn't get off the bench until the 4th against us even though the game had been out of hand for quite a long time. Are they waving the white flag already or is Bynum sulking on the bench? :nope I can't imagine they would risk a series with the Grizzlies even if they prefer taking on us to the Thunder.

Jordan Hill is playing ok and I don't know if Bynum needs his diaper changed. He can be very tempermental.

They aren't tanking.

Jordan Hill is likely their less worst big from the bench. Mike Brown should have given him minutes as soon as they got him from Houston.

I dont think the Lakers want to play Memphis in the first round, so no they are not tanking

God, the Thunder radio announcers are pussies.

N/M, that was bad. They were pussies before that, however.

No, Troy Murphy and Josh McRoberts just both suck horribly.

Murphy is beyond done. McRoberts I thought was a pretty good signing but he sucks with the Lakers.

They'd be tanking for a Memphis beatdown, tbh.

Sure, they are playing the best team in the West, have Kirby and Bynum on the floor heavy minutes. Sure, they're tanking.

is Bynum in foul trouble? because it appears the Thunder have taken him completly out of this game not that his sub isn't doing well, but you would think we would see him in there trying to overpower the Thunder on the inside.

Perkins defends him well. Always has.

Talk about a mental setback for the Thunder if they lose this game...

double overtime and it is the most I have enjoyed a non Spurs game in a minute, I find myself rooting for the Lakers but I don't know why. Maybe childhood Magic Johnson allegiances.

Kobe in that zone that I don't want to have to deal with

Hill was really good in the game, and so was Ebanks. Looks like the Lakers lucked into a pretty decent rotation just in time to make up for the loss of Ron Artest in the first round.
