This was a team loss..as all of them are. I saw mistakes and missed shots from all the Spurs. ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL.

I also saw one bad ass Detroit Pistons team.

Shot selection. 28 3s and TD takes only 14 shots?

The whole team. As much as I thoroughly enjoy calling Duncan a choker, I know he can't sholder all the blame tonight.

Manu made poor decisions. Parker was, well you know

We played conservative ball and never took it out of that gear despite Detroit's lights out play.

Because Detroit simply played better than San Antonio, no blame here.

Manu, Barry and Duncan...

Barry played like Devin Brown and forced too many shots...I'd rather him miss 3 shots and go scoreless but keep the offense fluid than jack up shots with a guy in his face...I know Spurs fans have wanted him to play like he did in this game all season long...but that's not hard to do, being smart and efficient and getting your teamates goin is...I like the other Barry better. Devin Brown could have given us this type of game...

I am kind of pissed at Pop on this...all season long I clamored for Barry to be the back up PG because we were going to need it when Beno started playing like a rookie in the playoffs...now he finally realizes and makes the switch with 2 games left in the season...it might have been nice to run it some in the regular season before we did it in the two most important games in Spurs history.

Duncan missed too many fucking FT's..

Manu''s decision making sucked in the final minute or so...he was expecting too much help from the refs and didn't seem to understand how much respect the Pistons D was going to get. Refs are never going to bail a guy out in crunch time...especially Bennet fucking Salvatore...Manu needs to realize that.

Just give the credit to the Pistons instead of blaming the Spurs. The Pistons were playing incredible ball.

YES. Pistons played tough ball and beat us.

But the missed FTs were the daggers that detroit used to skip ahead. If we have another FT night and turn oever night like this again - Pistons B2B champs.

I think I'll be saying the same thing repeatedly until Thursday:

The Spurs have to find another notch to go up to. You have to assume that Detroit is not going to make mistakes in the clutch, so the Spurs have to absolutely limit their mistakes. The Pistons will miss shots, but they won't beat themselves.

Manu can't get lackadaisical with the ball and he has to stop flopping. Tony has to stop bailing them out with his jump shot. And Nazr is approaching Mengke Bateer status on offense.

You can bitch about Tim all you want, but between his ankles and oh, by the way, the Wallace Brothers, I don't see how you can expect much more than 20-25 and 15.

If it wasn't for Robert Horry, the series would have been over tonight. And I don't know if Rob can do that again.

Props to Brent, at least, for a good effort tonight.

Shoot up Tim's ankles with painkillers. They can heal over a five-month period won't they? Give your all Thursday Spurs and remember--We are Spurtacus!!!!!

Too many 3pt shot attempts and Duncan not getting enough touches. Also, Detroit played great when they had to.

I wonder how many Detroit fans went for the strong stuff when Danny Crawford was the ref?

pop and manu, when theres more than a minute left in the game down the strech you GO TO TIM to create for the team. if theres 1 or 2 possesions left in the game then you to to manu so that the pistons dont key on duncan...stupid move by pop to go to manu with 2 mins left and manu forced the drive, NO PATIENCE on his part.
