So based on this post, are we to believe that you're looking forward to the Maiden tour this summer?

I went to the first weekend of Coachella and just ordered tickets to Lollapalooza. I've always been big on concerts/festivals, but now that I have a real job its become my new obsession. I wish I planned better so that I could go to Bonnaroo, too.

I wish I'd seen the Powerslave and Somewhere in Time tour. Those were pretty influential albums to me. Nicko is a beast. He's the Jeff Porcaro of Metal.

I didn't buy tickets yet. Do you think it will sell out? :D
I've never seen Iron Maiden live.

Missed them on the Powerslave tour, but that pretty much was why they did the Somewhere Back In Time tour in '08. Did catch them on the SIT tour though. This time around, they're doing the Maiden England/Seventh Son of a Seventh Son stage show.

I kind of doubt it'll sell out. They're doing 2 shows out here & the tix are going for $25-130 a pop. The lawn might sell out, but it's debatable whether anyone will pony up the big cash for the good seats.
My friend bought tickets for himself & his girlfriend for the Scorpions show out here and told me that the pair set him back about $130. I wouldn't have minded going to that, but the pricetag was just a little too steep for me. I'll just be content putting my $20 down for the Nasum show in May.

Ugh... San Antonio sucks as far as concerts... all metal and crap. Occasionally we get good shows like: Flaming Lips, Me Without You, Explosions in the Sky, Jimmy Eat World...

Nothing better than live music.
Wear earplugs, though. Tinnitus fucking sucks.
