Dallas owns tie breaker over Nuggs. Nuggs have to go into OKC and beat Thunder.

Another beatdown of lalaboys by the reigning champs? I think so, if Artest is out. :lol

I think they'll be decent to win a game or two now. Hopefully.

Never underestimate just how much better of a coach Rick Carlisle is than Mike Brown...

Rick Carlisle has won at least 1 playoff series against every coach in the NBA who has won a championship in the last 16 years, sans Pat Reily...

Mike Brown is not one of those coaches...

They're tucked in to the #2 spot. San Antonio has the #1 locked up.

OKC would want the lalaboys to face Dallas IMO. Since they are headed to a 2nd round faceoff.

so they will go out there and try and beat thuggets

all of the mav moves were calculated.

mavs don't want an asterisk trophy. those trophies aren't real.

lakers want revenge so it'd be ideal for them to take them castrated mavs in the 1st round tbh

No bragging from Kool this year after getting my ass spanked last by the Mavs I'm contrite this year....all I want is for Kobe to beat Dallas,OKC, and the Spurs enroute to #6 without Artest and he will be officially greater than MJ....

And a quiet thank you to Lamar Odom. No Artest for LA no Odom or Chandler for Dallas...

good series. I think my mavs still have something inside them

Lakers definetely should take series against either team (assuming no injuries) but the Mavs can surely throw a scare into them and probably more likely to make it a 6-7 game series.

With a Mavs-LAL series I could see a Haywood Bynum altercation or someone else besides MWP going off (assuming he is there) as these teams simply do not like each other.

If Artest plays, Mavs in 6. If Artest is suspended, Lakers in 6.

:lmao

Mavs chances of repeating are about 1% so this is the exact kind of loser attitude I would expect from mavfan tbh...

Lakers will probably go in with a head of steam looking for revenge, Dallas is much weaker than last year.

Unless Dirk & Terry go ham shooting the 3ball and Vince steps into a time machine, it shouldn't be more than a 6 game win for LAL.

Prepping for that first round exit a little early?

If the Lakers go up 3-0 in the first round, will they tank a game or 2 to soak up Artest's suspension?

Det's not going to be a problem because the Lakers are not going 3-0 up on any playoff opponent this playoffs.

No.

Both teams would be 36-29 with one game remaining.

yup but Dallas got d tie breaker. All they need to do is handle their business vs. ATL, which a reigning champ should easily do

But then again it's Dallas we are talking about here
