I was deriding a guy I work with for being such a blind homer and told he we were going to have a nice season and a nice first round exit. We were going no where. Now the guy still is a blind homer (stacks his fantasy team with only spurs he even held onto manu the whole season), and we don't know what is going to happen next week, but suffice to say I was wrong.

I liked the roster and always thought the Spurs were to be in the finals this year. But I didn't thought Green was to be so good, or that Duncan was to recover some of his vintage form, also the RJ for Jack trade and the addition of Diaw is an important factor. The Spurs have chances to win it all, but I wouldn't call them favorites. At least not until seeing how does a 10 players rotation function against a shortened one.

Yes, albeit, begrudgingly. He pretty much knows the truth deep down, and it usually only comes out when he's backed into a corner from what I've observed. He's very dry and full of sarcasm when he 'praises' them, and other times he'll just up and fly on The Spurs Bandwagon out of effin' nowhere. Shaq was actually the one who calmed me down this year right after Manu's injury. He called it a "Blessing in Disguise", and he didn't care when everyone tried to challenge him on this. Thank you, Shaq. That certainly helped me throughout the season... and sure enough things just started to get better and better. And I pray that they will only continue to do just that. :toast
