Having a discussion downstairs that eventually came around to discussing if David Lee would've been a better fit with the Spurs than Diaw. I think Lee would've been a solid fit, but I also recognize Diaw was a better addition on the fly. So I ask, if the Spurs could've had either, who would you of chosen?

Lee would be a better long term investment. Diaw is a fine addition short term.

That's how I feel, but if they could've acquired Lee earlier, such as around the trade deadline, I think he'd of been able to learn the system and adjust.
Both take minutes away from Matt Bonner, but David Lee easily
In there some hypothetical situation where David lee gets waived, and comes to the Spurs for $407K?

If they were in similar situations. Diaw has his skillset that made the transition easier as does Lee.
