A non-alarmist would conclude that his shoulder issue is no big deal, has been around for a while and hasn't changed, and the big three + Pop traveled with the team to Phoenix so the whole team could take part in what McDonald described as a "spirited 90-minute morning shootaround at the U.S Airways Center masquerading as a full-scale practice." With the playoffs coming right away, it would be the perfect time to prep for Utah and work on plays they want to use, etc.

These guys aren't prima donas, why deal with a corporate jet just to make this happen? Why spend 10-20x the cost just for this extra practice time?
