If Kobe had Mills' line tonight, it wouldn't surprise anyone. It'd be an "average" game for Kobe.
17 points on 18 shots, 4 assists (3 TO) in 25 minutes so far.

We'll lose this game but they are playing well under the circumstances. Suns getting some calls at home of course but they're hanging in there with the Suns. Only if KL could learn to penetrate and make noise in the paint...

So happy Pop pulled his head out of his butt and dropped Blair from the rotation. Dude can't even rebound anymore. Suns are like the worst rebounding team in the league and getting a hundred second chance points.

I think everyone has been making a big deal about it because Millsap has been playing a lot of SF lately. He certainly plays bigger than most 3s. Creates matchup issues.

If you ask me, I'd really only put Jefferson in that category. Yes Kanter and Favors are tall, but they're nowhere near as good as Randolph and Gasol (who killed us last year) are. Plus I think they're just too young and inexperienced. Millsap is good, but undersized just like Blair/Diaw....

The other thing that Utah's frontline doesnt have on the Grizzlies from last year is that only one of their guys (Al Jefferson) is a legitimate back to the basket post up player. Millsap is more of a pick and pop guy, and Favors and Kanter are hustle, energy players. Last year both Randolph and Gasol posted up tons of times...
