Splitter with some incredible efficiency, 19 mins, 26pts on 10-13 shooting. This guy has to start playing starters minutes next year, 30+/game. Too good to be sat on the bench backing up Timmy for 15 min a night

Splitter is a beast and patty Mills ... where the hell did that come from? I mean I knew he was good but shit, this team just keeps surprising time after time ...

Next year? WE NEED A TITLE THIS YEAR! Next year is too late for it! He needs to play more now. Bonner sucks and it's proven (April came hey he is some shit now) and Blair is a bonehead alot of times, so he needs to play more now! LA games he started and we won! He is too good to be sat and only get 15 mins a night, time to get him up to 25 or so for the playoffs! WE WILL NEED HIM.

Pop is an idiot.

To be fair I can see why he has been hesitant. Not enough length with the 2nd unit if Tiago plays with Timmy all the time.

I also think the lockout has a lot to do with it. No training camp to mould the team in to playing with two 7 footers again, go with what you know with Bonner as a stretch 4.

But honestly if Pop has no interest in playing Tiago more than he has this year, we should trade him for a player who Pop will actually play. Total waste giving such a good big such few minutes.

Idk. I thought the big rotation during the Laker game: Start them, sub Tim, Tiago plays with the bench, etc. would've been fine. Just start them both and let Tiago back TD up as well.

Patty Mills's stat line is not very impressive because it is so inefficient. A very Kobesque game for Patty.

Not really, the Suns were missing two starters and the starters that played tonight didn't spent much time in the court.

The D-League experience for Cory has proved helpful in his development as a pro. Nice game for CoJo, including a key steal and 3 in crunch time.

Yup good win, but ehh.. Suns didn't have anything to play for so whatever. Good confidence booster for 2nd team either way. Like to see Jax get some serious minutes this next game before playoffs.

Looks like 50 is still possible. It's also in the Warriors best interest to drop tomorrow's game.

Securing a win minus the big 3 is all the efficiency I require.

ps hopefully do even better tomorrow and be rolling into the playoffs. It should be even easier tbh.

Pop will play Splitter depending on the matchup. I expect to see him quite a bit vs Utah (lol), LAL, and Memphis if we play any of them. Maybe even Chicago if we play them in the finals.

Its good experience for the B2B's in the second round. Splitter has chemistry with the starters and the bench guys. I wouldn't start him unless it was against the big boys. I think the take away from tonite's win came from the announcers. "Whomever the Spurs insert into the lineup, they still play Spurs basketball!"

I WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!! :ihit

Overall, a good game tonight. Splitter is simply great, and Mills is a little bit shoot-happy, but considering the circumstances, we need somebody to provide offense.

Tomorrow, rest Green and Kawhi, start Anderson and Byars, and play the young guys heavy minutes.

The best thing about this win is that the far end of the bench got lots of minutes.
Starters Leonard and Green with only 17 minutes each. Splitter and Bonner under 20 and (possible playoffs starter) Diaw with 21 minutes. 6th & 7th men, Ginobili & Neal, were home in SA.

Impressive 49th win on the road...considering towel wavers played bulk minutes.

Our bench is uber, they played very well in a charged environment.
My only problem is that Patty Mills reminds me a lot of an AI/Westbrick, he is not as talented, but just as much of a ball hog. We are going to have to have Manu running the second unit in the playoffs, Mills is too much of a gunner and Neal's ball handling reminds me of Roger Mason Jr. *cringe*

Besides Splitter is a boss and Manu with Splitter is a very nice combo.

And made almost 40% of em; I'll take it in a game like this.

A Kobe-esque game from somebody near the end of the bench? I'll take that 10 times out of 10. Great game from Patty

Child please. At least the guy isn't afraid to shoot. Maybe you'd rather have Bonner take 28' threes every time down the court.

Corey Joseph has made some nice improvements with his time in the D League.

After a summer league stint and working with Brown and Forcier in the off season, will be very interested to see him in training camp next year.

Yeah. Not being afraid of shooting actually forces people to guard you and helps keep the defense honest.
