I've been suffering Mavs fans here in the D. Need a hangout for the playoffs.
At the very least it would be cool to chill in a place where fans have high bball IQs.

Sounds like it. Although he could have been laughing at his one user name: "Mavs DYNASTY" That shit there is pretty funny.

As long as them Mavs are not playing at the same time you should be ok pretty much anywhere... just dont get TOO rowdy and or take Spurs memorabilia with you...

I live part time in Plano. Don't know of a Spur friendly bar, but will travel to meet up with Spur fans to cheer the team on.

I live in McKinney and while I get the retarded comments from the Mavie sheep when I wear Spurs gear I also get a lot of compliments too.

Go to Buffalo Wild Wings - you should be OK. I do that a lot.

You have to make it friendly! Wear a Spurs shirt anywhere in Dallas and you will run into at least a few Spurs fans. Trust me!

It's not bad anywhere here. It's not a rabid fan base at all. There might be some drunken fools but that's every where. I don't know of a " spurs hangout" in Dallas but all places are fine.

Based on my previous experience a few years back in Dallas, absolutely not. We had some big moves in our Plano datacenter at the time so I went up to help. It was a Spurs/Mavericks series and my wife and I went out to watch three games.

We were wearing no Spurs gear, were not openly cheering other than a muted "yes" when the Spurs made a particularly great play, and stayed away from what I would consider true, hardcore sports bars.

We saw games at two different Humperdinks and one at Two Rows Brewing. Caught crap everywhere from everyone. Young guys, old guys, guys dressed like thugs, guys dressed like preppy douchebags. Got mocked, booed and cursed at. Had one particular jerk keep walking by our table yelling "F*ck the Spurs and f*ck anybody from San Antonio".

Of course, all three games were Spurs victories so that didn't help either. :lol

The original question was intended to find some secret, hole-in-the-wall that you Dallas dwellers are hiding in with the hopes I could join.

Maybe down the line in the playoffs we pick and place and have strength in numbers.

Unless, of course, some closet Mavs fan lures me to a gay bar and I end up deep in a well putting lotion on my skin.

The homosexuals tend to like the spurs. Look up the few gay bars Dallas has to offer, you will fit right in. God bless.
