You can play at many sites, but Bill Ayers would only recommend a .com

But you're only going to get 6-1 or so for the chip. I'm quite happy with my $350 at 15-1 from 2 months ago

Recommend me one . Me and a few friends are trying to place a bet . They are 9/2 favorites to win it all. So if I bet $100 it said it will payout $500 . I just don't want to get ripped off.

In the United States of America, it is illegal to operate a betting scheme, except in a few states. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_betting)

The Spurs have dropped like a rock.

+280 to +400...

The betting public is believing a bit more. Not that long ago we were +900.

I remember when Miami was about +125

Spurs are the 3rd or 4th at most of these places. Miami and Chicago as expected are still favorites. Some have OKC as a "worse" bet than the Spurs.

How much does it cost to place a bet or start an account... This is why some places offer much better on almost every team.

Be careful with this stuff my friend. I would go with what people have already played. There are hidden costs.

And realize it is illegal. Although the "odds" of them coming after you are close to nil. But they will bring down the group who runs these things if not in Europe, or the US "companies" that help move US money to Europe where it is perfectly legal.

Its a very gray foray. I have quite a story on this, my cousin almost pooped in his pants. But luckily they went after the big fish.

There is still no federal law that prohibits players from betting on sports when using an offshore sportsbook. If you bet on sports inside of the USA with a company based in the USA, then you are violating the law. There is a federal law that makes it difficult for banks to process gaming transactions, but that has nothing to do with the player. The only time you could get into trouble, is if you were to make a sizable profit and chose not to claim it on your income tax return.

Always investigate the offshore sportsbook you choose, be sure to select a reputable site with sound financial standing, and tight security such as the recommended sportsbooks at http://www.Sportsbook-Ratings.net (http://www.sportsbook-ratings.net/) The reviews at SRN are certified independent, and you will also find free daily sports picks, betting tips, and other free helpful information.

In Texas, it is illegal to place bets online.

Good luck though.

Hope the Spurs take it and you some bucks. I used to bet horses, but not online. At the racing facility. You can off course place bets at other tracks as well from that facility. But online in Texas it is illegal. Some used to ask where you live and if you put Texas you could not place a bet through that company. I dont know if they still do that.

If you want more info PM me. I can relate what happened to my brother and cousin while betting online in Texas. Both think they are the Vegas men.

http://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/basketball-us is an Australian site where you can bet online on USA basketball.

http://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/basketball-us/nba-championship/outrights?ev_oc_grp_id=229624 for the title.

I play online poker as a revenue source, so I know alot of sites.

Personally, I would stay away from playersonly or sportsbook. There are much more reputable sites, like Bodog or Intertops, that still serve U.S. customers and pay out promptly. I don't sportsbet these days so I don't personally have a vested interest in any of the sites, but I still know quite a bit about them.

I did it during college basketball season on http://www.sportsbook.ag/?oldurl=y

My friend used it, but hadn't actually cashed out yet. After I signed up I noticed people were complaining online about them not paying. I ended up making 5,000$ of a 20$ deposit. Got all the money back. I stopped after that though. The easy non-conference betting was over and I didn't want to lose anything.

It's really hard to find stuff out about sites though, as every review site seems paid off by the sites they promote. I've had no problems with Sportsbook and it's the only site I used. I recommend it, but like I said, I have seen negative reviews.
