Like the fact that we're all healthy so there'll be no excuses this time around but I'm worried that Neal will play the designated 5-10 minutes instead of Mills, who is a better player.

Unless you're talking about position-wise. I'd like to see Mills at PG more if it means putting Neal at SG. But better overall player? Fuck no...

Gary is the cold as ice shooter who isnt afraid of the moment that Bonner is not.

Gary is equally ballsy but with the more consistently money stroke than Jack.

Gary DGAF and will definitely have at least one monster moment this postseason. As Steve Kerr showed us in '03, all you need is one big moment to forever be part of a championship run's lore.

Scary thing is, the Chicago game jus reminded us that injuries can screw you over at any moment in any game

How the fuck are we going to find Neal any room at SG with Manu/Danny? Except maybe in garbage time.

I don't like Neal at PG because he sags off shooters way too much

Manu can play any role you want. Neal brings the ball up, give it to Manu, Neal becomes a two. Danny and Leonard have played the 3.

Neal's ability to get off a shot that often goes in with the shot clock winding down is huge imo. He ability to ad lib when plays break down is also valuable. Sometimes he does forget we are trying to have everyone touch the ball and he goes street on us.

And Neal had better sag off shooters, because most players with any kind of speed go right by him. Sadly his D on the perimeter is awful imo. Mills is probably worse on D.

Neal is key to really running the Jazz off the court. If he can play off Manu and Splitter and consistently nail his open threes, cause he will get them due to Utah being a horrible 3 pt defensive team. If he nails his shots Splitter will really dominate along with Manu on the inside.

Neal playing SG off of Manu playing PG works fine. Also Jamal Tinsley isn't exactly a speed demon so Neal matches up OK there.

2011: The Spurs were banged up and limped into the playoffs.

2012: The Spurs are healthy and blowing opponents off the floor.

:lobt2: #5 is ours for the taking. :toast

I want to hear these words before every game the Spurs play this postseason, tbh. Dead serious.
