Despite the early expected jitters against a physical team, he delivered good shots throughout. Let's hope this was not a fluke and he can continue to contribute on a consistent basis.

his play was overshadowed by the shit play of the jazz

For sure. If Bonner keeps playing like this the championship is San Antonio's to lose imo. I'm definitely hoping he keeps it up.

Yep. Making the necessary threes, not being too much of a defensive liability.

Please, Bonner, PLEASE prove us wrong about your playoff capabilities.

Him having good game is mostly the best news of the series, along with Jax.

If Bonner can play well defensively then hit shots it's good night NBA

the the Big 3 and Jack played well, which is what will matter regardless of Bonner's play.

I was rooting for him to hit those 3's. Those all would have been bricks in 2009 and 2010.

Bonner tweeted: 51 and 16, tied again for the best record in the league.

his first few possessions i was hoping him to shoot it instead of penetrating and causing a turnover with the failed bailout pass....

you live and die by the 3, so just shoot it, at least him shooting to get his rythm going is better then chuckers with limited minutes

Not real playoffs though, tbh. Seriously, this is probably the weakest Spurs playoff opponent of Duncan's career. The only other team that comes close is the 04 Grizz.

Bonner was victimized on defense. The one nice block he made was called a foul. He did a nice job fighting teammates for rebounds, tbh.

I loved when he completely blew the rotation resulting in a jumper in the paint. Pop called timeout and replaced...Tony Parker.

Bonner hit shots. That's all we need. These shitty players (most would be considered that on many other teams) put us in a great position for the post season. I ain't mad at them.

People who DON'T understand basketball fail to see the connection between the two things...

This is regular season game 67 as far as Bonner is concerned. If nobody tells him it's actually the playoffs, he may give us another decent game or two or at least not get in the way like before.

Good start for the Red Rocket. Playerrs were still scoring on him, but he wasn't makings easy. That's probably one of those spots where his reputation doesn't help him much.

Still, he hit his shots (including a couple treys when the Spurs needed some momentum), hit the boards, and played passable defense. If he can continue to play like he did today, I'll be satisfied.

Would be really nice if he adds in a game or two where he goes bananas from deep.

I was saying a couple of weeks ago, if Bonner just plays AVERAGE in the playoffs, we have a good shot.
