Whats up with all the fat girls?

I'm just shocked at the percentage of young fat girls I'm seeing everywhere these day...I'm talking teens and 20 somethings that are just freaking FAT. I don't think it's just me but when I was that age I'd say maybe 1 in 10 was fat. Now it seems like it's 50/50 or even worse...It's almost to the point that if you see any woman in that age group that's normal height/weight appropriate it's an exception...is it just me or are girls just letting themselves go and just don't give a shit anymore?

It's a lot more than that. Parents being lazy and buying family meals from the dollar menu. Getting kids indoctrinated into believing fast food tastes better than healthy meals. Some of them will never break that cycle.

I'm not saying they can't be nice people. I'm also aware I'm not perfect either..I'm 6'5" and can spread it out but am also carrying at least 25 pounds of weight over ideal....but was buff well into my thirties...It's pretty natural to pack a few pounds on as you age and get less active but if you are already 100 pounds overweight at 18 I can't imagine what these women are going to look like at 50 if the beetus doesn't get them before that.

This has alot of truth to it. Several Native American tribes were practically wiped out because of the assumed expedience of a corn diet.

Corn sucks. It lacks needed nutrition, and it's high in sugar. Without modern dentistry, we'd all have rotted out teeth and be suffering from tooth abscesses because of our forced corn diet.

Plus everything we make "on-the-go" is composed of corn syrup, carbs/bread and fried foods. Those will make you fat if you eat nothing but them, and most people do because it's easy to prepare and affordable.

It's not just women. We're a society that is increasingly sedentary, increasingly busy, and increasingly dependent upon high fat, processed foods (due to their convenience and low prices).
