Comparing the two, we have the following...

Differences:

-Polanski is a genius filmmaker, Cubby is a shitty parroting troll on a website

Similarities:

-both have a vast knowledge of cinema
-both are child molesters
-both fled and hid instead of being a man and taking their punishment

Discuss.

I was actually surprised Culburn welched. He has honored bets before, but for some reason he just didn't want to do it this time around.

Polanski made Chinatown. The choice is clear.

Polanski made Chinatown.

Which 40 years later I still can't fathom the appeal.

I'm pretty sure it's got to do with Luva & Kool. Anyways I think they have been cast aside ever since Timvp gave the EC members the keys to this board.

Jack being Jack and Faye Dunaway getting shot in the head make it appealing enough for me

It's clunky out of the gate.

Huston (Faye's Pappy) is the best part of the movie though.
