Young and Lineart are proving that the 05 BCS game was their pinnacle.

VY first two seasons at Tennessee were solid. Then when he filled in for Collins mid year and they almost made the playoffs. But fucking Jeff Fisher never liked him and severely stunted his growth. Plus I think Steve McNair's passing took a toll on him.

Young and Lineart are proving that the 05 BCS game was their pinnacle.

Matt Leinart's pinnacle was that 4th down pass to Dwayne Jarrett against ND, followed by Reggie Bush pushing him into the endzone.

In other news, lol Colt McCoy

ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi says he was "told" Colt McCoy's fate with the Browns was sealed when his father, Brad, called out the organization for its handling of Colt's 2011 concussion.
It's no secret that Browns management fumed about Brad McCoy's statements to the media, specifically the Cleveland Plain Dealer (Grossi's old employer). "I was told at the time that Brad McCoy’s comments meant the end of McCoy in Cleveland, but I didn’t believe it then," writes Grossi. McCoy is expected to be no more than a clear-cut backup if the Browns hang onto him in 2012.

Better fit for him than in Philly. He basically threw away a season playing in a West Coast offense. Hopefully he took that year to mature.

Yes, it's Jeff Fisher's fault Vince can read or write. It's also Jeff Fisher's fault that 85% of the offensive playcalling with Collins was no longer possible due to Vince having the mind of an infant and the psychological stability of a 12 year old girl. It's Jeff Fisher's fault Vince was limited to either handing the ball off or rolling out to his right and throwing for no more than 15 yards.

He was so "solid" in his first two seasons he managed to squeeze in 21 TDs while throwing 30 interceptions at a 57.1% completion rate. His 11 fumbles were also really solid.

Bud Adams wanted his Texas guy, Vince to be for Nashville what Vick was for Atlanta. He wanted the media attention that came with having a popular black QB and he wanted to build the black fanbase. Jeff Fisher didn't give a damn about all that. And lol Air McNair's passing taking a toll on Vince. The only passing taking a toll on Vince is his own. :cry

Why take the wunderlic serious when you're destined for millions and a NFL roster spot?

lol I bet ya'll the type to actually study for that shit smh.

The dude is a leader, competitor and a freakish athlete. Once he gets in a system that fits his talents and gets a coach who believes in him, the sky is the limit. Gotta give the Bill FO props for bringing VY in and giving him a chance.

Its gonna be Tebow 2.0 in Buffalo this year and like Tebow, VY is gonna re-energize the franchise and lead them to a good year.

rofl what kind of system fits his talent? Pretty much every system in the NFL involves using the forward pass as a way to advance the ball.

Vince Young tweet hints at Bills cut

The arrival of Tarvaris Jackson in Buffalo apparently means Vince Young's exit from the Bills.

Young tweeted thanks to the Bills on Monday morning signaling he was cut by the organization, although the Bills haven't officially announced the move.

He wrote: "I want to thank the Bills organization for the opportunity and wish the organization and my teammates good luck this season".

The Bills agreed to a restructured contract with Jackson on Monday, a source told The Associated Press, which was the last hurdle in completing his trade from Seattle.

Young signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Bills in May, after spending last season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He had the edge to win the No. 2 job until he struggled in a 38-7 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday. Young threw two interceptions, the first coming on his first pass attempt, and finished 12 of 26 for 103 yards in playing the entire second half.

Jackson was scheduled to make $4 million this season, but that figure was restructured because the Bills deemed it to be too expensive for a backup player.

It's not yet clear what the Seahawks will get in return for Jackson, though it's expected to be a mid- to late-round draft pick from Buffalo.

Jackson signed a two-year contract with the Seahawks last year, and was credited for playing a major role in the team's turnaround after a 2-6 start. He posted career numbers in completions (271) and attempts (450) to go with 3,091 yards passing with 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

But Seattle went out and acquired free agent Matt Flynn this offseason, then selected Russell Wilson in the third round of April's draft.

Wilson was named the team's starting quarterback on Sunday night by coach Pete Carroll.

The Bills, meanwhile, have Ryan Fitzpatrick entrenched as their No. 1 quarterback after signing him to a six-year, $59 million extension last season. Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen have been vying for the backup job this preseason, and coach Chan Gailey has maintained that there's only room for one backup, because the No. 3 job is going to receiver/Wildcat specialist Brad Smith.

Jackson had an up-and-down five-year career with the Vikings. His most productive season came in 2007, when he started 12 games.

Saw the game live.
VY had Tenn in position to win playoff game vs Chargers.

Stupid running back fumbles in red zone, field goal kicker misses chip shot (i think two of them). LT gets awarded touchdown for Chargers on 4th down when, after being stood up short of the goaline an O lineman pushed LT from the back (illegal) for the score.

Most def was not VYs fault.
