Dwight probably deserves it the most still, but 3 times is enough I guess

Not this year, even if he was healthy. The off court drama affected Dwight's game, he just wasn't in it day in and day out.

Your opinions on anything related to the Knicks are heavily biased.

I thought he was done after 2009. I have to give him props for rebounding like that.

So LeBron will be the MVP.

I only see Durant winning the MVP if they give the DPOY to LeBron

tbh I'd pick Ibaka over Howard or Chandler

Serge Ibaka. The single reason the Thunder don't give up 120+ ppg.

No.

Good for him. Guy deserves it for carrying Dallas to a title and making the Knicks not as horrible on D as before.

Ibaka?

Lol no

Sefolosha is their best defensive player

Ibaka wouldn't have been a bad choice, either..Thabo is their best overall defender, but Ibaka makes more of an impact, due to more PT and the fact that he plays during virtually every scenario..

Durant, Westbrook and Harden are all poor defenders, while Perkins is overrated..

I would have went..

1. Garnett
2. Chandler
3. Howard
4. Iguodala
5. James
6. Josh Smith
7. Ibaka
8. Tony Allen

marion is this years true defensive player of the year, he won't win it because he's on a bad team though

Going from being in the bottom in points per possession allowed to top 5 in points per possession allowed is a good case.

but ... but ... but ... he has a bad foot!!! so lets trade him for Emeka Okafor who makes more money each year and has more years left on his contract!

damn you Bower/Shinn

it'd be more like a compensation for last year tbh. TC still plays excellent D himself but his efforts hasn't helped much to improve his team's defense and the knicks ain't going nowhere this year

Let's face it - the Knicks are a team who is number one in one stat: Drama generated per game.

So the Mavs let him go so they could make a run at the defensive player of the year in Dwight Howard.

Neat o

letting TC walk killed their chance of repeating but it's definitely NOT a terrible decision in the long term, mavs are clearing up space come summer and they'll have multiple options there. if they get DH or Deron (or maybe both of them) they're competing again right the next season and if neither of them comes, they're starting to rebuild right away.

The Mavs fucked up, period. If the goal is to win a ring, they had the product to do it. Why jostle that up so you can become competitive in the future? You're already competitive, fuck you just won a ring.

It's not even about a ring. It's about Mark Cuban living off the interest of the ring, not wanting to pay to get back there as long as he has good attendance, and they will because Dallas, like SA, has fans with much lower expectations than LA or Boston (especially LA).
