Jazz steal Game 2, tbh. The loss of Splitter will be too much for SA to handle. gg Jazz
It'll be closer than 15 but Spurs still lead virtually throughout and pull out the W.
106-98 Spurs is my final prediction

wonder if Devin Harris will get a visit from Jack for his comments towards Tony?
wonder if Devin Harris will get a visit from Jack for his comments towards Tony?
I don't know why everyone is tripping over those comments. It's playoff basketball. It's not the first time someone has hinted at making people pay for driving to the rim. Besides, if anyone should do something to Harris, it should be Blair. Jax is too important to the team.

Manu was non existent in game 1.
I think he shows up tonight.
Spurs 108
Jazz 89

Manu, Danny, and Leonard are gonna show up tonight and run the show. Spurs by 18.
From ESPN
"The playoffs is physical. We just can't let him feel like he can come down in that paint any time he ready," Jefferson said.
The O/U is 204. I would take the over for this one, 210 at least.
SA +11. I don't know if I would take that spread.

Last year's Spurs were fatally flawed. This year, you can debate that they are weaker (I am in no position to judge), but they plugged a lot of holes.

I hate Bonner, as is known, but a hot Bonner is a valuable player to have against a team like the Lakers in a situation where the Spurs might need to pull Gasol out of the paint to open up the driving lanes. Obviously I wouldn't want him playing anymore than 10 minutes in that matchup, but it doesn't hurt having a stretch 4 to give a team with a huge frontline different looks once in awhile.

Naw man, this is the strongest Spurs team in a while. I meant this is the weakest opponent Duncan has ever gone against in the playoffs. One could argue that Phoenix in 2000 with Kidd missing the first two games was weaker, but Tim didn't play that series anyways.

What leads you to believe this? The fans in Utah couldn't have saved them from the ass whipping we gave them tonight. We are miles better than Utah. Sure, they might take a win in Utah, but murder? Not happening. They can't stop Tony..and when you can't stop Tony, you're doubling him, and when you double him, our shooters are open. The MAX this series goes is 5 games...and if they win, it sure as shit won't be a blowout.

We got lucky. Jazz will murder us in Utah.
Our 2nd and 3rd scrub units were up 8 with like 3 or 4 minutes to go in Utah when Utah was desperate to win a game (they were still trying to make the playoffs).
It took a barrage of 3 point shots and a bit of flopping by Devin Harris for Utah to barely pull out the win.
