yes, let's rest them so they can play in games 6 and 7 so they won't be rusty for the next round

Manu's as rusty as can be right now plus he's been sitting for half a season already.

wtf ? They are tired or what ? Sweep them, and wait for g7 in Mem - Lac. Plenty of rest

If we won this next game, and went up 3-0 in the series, then I would have no problem with seeing the Big Three rested for Game 4. If we lose Game 4, then, okay, time to reconsider, but it's worth it to rest them for that entire game, I'd say.

I wouldn't even make them travel to Utah.

Play game 3, limit their minutes in game 4 perhaps, then finish the Jazz off at home.

Dumb question. We lost the game last time we did that. To hold out the big three to rest would be a slap in the face of the Jazz organization.

Cryogenically Freeze the Big Three?

I hear SWRI has the technology.

I voted yes

We don't want to risk an injury and be healthy for the finals !!!

Just keep playing them the way they have in game 1 and 2. Our bench will respond in game 3 and 4, allowing the big 3 more than enough rest for finals.

I felt dumb when I voted in the poll. Obviously just a troll thread, I'm surprised by the amount of serious responses. I felt the need to respond to one though:

Play game 3, limit their minutes in game 4 perhaps, then finish the Jazz off at home.
No :nope

You shoot for the sweep. We can rest when the series is over. Playing limited minutes in Game 4 then having to play a Game 5 still equates to way more minutes than just going hard in Game 4 and ending it. Even if they exert themselves and lose it wont matter, the series is ours and the only way we can screw up is by fucking around and worrying about resting guys when we needa be worried about closing em out as quickly as possible.

Exhibit A on why the Spurs fanbase remains the most trollable group on the internets.

This is THE series that a sweep is a very good odd to happen, so NO REST until the broomstick has been fully used, yet.

Holy shit. This thread is hilarious. The non-serious outrageous suggestion+the serious replies are the goods. :lmao

So much swag would be shown by the Spurs if they were to rest their Big 3 though. I almost want to see it just because of that. :lol

dont rest players, we must sweep them

extending it to game 5, the home team fans know they are trying tomilk more money, hence probably wont even turn up to see the elimination game and wait for the next round...

I've been saying all along they should rest for the entire Playoffs so they'll be fresh enough to repeat next season.

Spurs should go with Mills-Neal-Anderson-Bonner-Blair for 48 minutes in games 3 & 4
