Just hedging his bets - he picked SA to win it back in December.

Shaq picked the Spurs to win the title before the season started and has repeatedly picked them since....

Thats what he said.

Smith also seemed to hint hed take the Spurs over the heat due to the Heat struggling against good point guard play. Said that Parker and Manu would have field days and the Spurs system would be murder.

The Heat also lack anything that resembles a half-court offense. When the Knicks played good transition defense the Heat struggled to score - 36 points in a half is not going to get it done against the Spurs.

Having home-court is nice. If we make it there that will end up being huge for us.

The Heat have the most efficient half-court offense in the NBA dude, not sure what you're talking about.

And Parker/Duncan would have to be our hope because Wade/James are probably going to lock Manu up on offense

Their halfcourt offense is mediocre at best.
