They "obviously" did not earn their money and thus do not deserve to keep it. They are stealing money from the poor janitor who cleans the arena. How is this fair?

logic would tell you that in order to reduce a deficit you need to cut spending and increase revenue..

So you cannot reduce a deficit by cutting spending?

if you are serious about reducing a defict in a timely manner you would do both ..either your serious or not.. you obviously are not and those who are willing to do both are serious about the deficit.

Who says I am not serious? Why can you not reduce spending as fast as you increased it?

Because you can reduce it faster when you increase revenue... do you want to balance the budget as quickly as possible? I am not trying to be a smart ass rather I am asking you in a serious meaningful manner.

typical VRWC talking point.

US has revenue problem (tax cuts for the wealthy, UCA) that is worsened by $Ts wasted in Repug wars, Repug Medicare Advantage (privatization failed), Repug mismanagement of the economy.

Why can you not cut spending faster than you raised it?

I want to reduce the size of government in general, that includes the deficit.

If the U.S. Federal Government has a revenue problem why would the U.S. Federal Government increase spending?

"U.S. Federal Government increase spending"

counter-cyclical Keynesian stimulus to counter the instabilities of capitalist economy.

That is an economic fallacy. Stimulus spending is just an inefficient redistribution of wealth. Government interventions in the economy created the instabilities.

I know when I think about people manipulating the Great Big Casino that controls our entire economy on the backs of 100 million 401K's and home mortgages, and then gaming the system so they can avoid tax responsibilities, Tim Duncan is the first person that comes to mind.

There probably wouldn't even be a San Antonio Spurs.
