How does two pitchers go from being among ones of the best elite pitchers in the game to being just garbage, almost to be considered scrubs in less the 3 years?

Wont even mention Bucholz because the guy has never impressived me at all.

What am I missing here? What its going on in Boston friend?

Boston kills some pitchers, my friend. The pressure gets to them, and they just implode. Also, fried chicken and beer doesn't help. SMH

There's the rare pitcher that pitches arguably better here... think Curt Schilling (who didn't pitch better, but seemed to thrive on the pressure).

That said, I'm pretty sure Lester will turn the corner. He's probably having mechanics issues, or he's playing with pain. I am relatively confident he will turn the corner by the all-star break.

Lets hope so. I think out of the two (Lester+Beckett) Lester has the best chance to turn the corner and come out big.

I have lost complete faith in Beckett.

I see he's not even pitching today despite the fact it was his turn to. Why did he get scrapped for today?

LOL now Beckett is golfing with a supposed back stiffness.

Tell me again why Boston hasn't shopped him yet? Jesus Christ 12-18. rofl
