Shit was on ESPN Dallas for like 4 minutes under breaking news but now it's gone tbh

Kidd will retire if he doesn't get a MLE type offer and Dirk is going to retire pending the offseason moves.

:wow

Oh, please. The only thing Dirk is going to be contemplating this off season is where to go on his honeymoon.

who cares about kidd but dirk shouldn't retire because of Cuban. Just send dirk on down to San Antonio & we will make sure he gets another ring or 2. :toast

dirk retiring? does it mean they'll have enough room for TWO MAXES come offseason? Sign Deron AND DH, let it happen cuban

dirk must really know he's lost a step or something, or he's holding out for cuban to make something happen.

Cubes will lure Stackhouse, Tmac and Juwan Howard to the Mavs for one last shot of glory.

We'll have Dirk....as a backup for the greatest PF there ever was in the NBA.

No but seriously, Dirk should stick it to Cuban by going to San Antonio and getting a few 'ships and then retire like Robinson.

dirk AIN'T signing with no other NBA team tbh, and don't be surprised if dirk retires & resigns with them mavs as soon as he's allowed to do so, giving up a ton of $ to make da triple D happen :cry

Heat of the moment talk there, thats all it is. Like Jet saying he would go to Miami this offseason! I wish he would go away but...... I feel they all are back.

dude has enough money he might do it
like barkley said dallas is in trouble
they gambled on dwill or d howard
both can not play
dwill and d howard want to play together
can not in dallas
d howard already did not opt out
dallas can only go out and sign d williams
dallas has 8 fa's
dallas might have to sign old nash..

Dirk probably retires in 2 years. Nobody leaves 42 mil on the table..

Dirk needs to go coattail ride somewhere else for the last few years of his career. he simply doesn't have what it takes to lead a team anymore. he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of because he got his ring last season as the TRUE team leader, but those days are long gone. for the Mavs it should be time to let Dirk go and start to rebuild around younger stars.

son there are several teams who would be willing to trade for Dirk. I betcha even Miami would send Bosh home to Dallas and bite the bullet on Dirk's salary.

Jason should definitely retire..we appreciate all you've done here in Dallas buddy but like all good things they must someday come to an end. Thanks Jason, you'll always be welcome in Dallas.
