UTSA isn't even AACSB accredited, is it? Well UTA is, making it a top 80 business school in the nation. I mean it's not the best thing ever, but that's why I'm transferring out to Wharton for my masters.

^it probably has something to do with your local JUCO having better curriculum
^Its an average university tbh, no better or worse than most other Texas universities including UT-Arlington.
UTSA is accredited btw and has a better business program than Arlington. Proof youve been accepted into Wharton too faggot.

People commonly mispronounce it though, it isn't actually "UTSA" at all. In order for the UT system to meet strict discriminatory guidelines, they have to let in a certain amount of each race. Rather than let all the mexicans into UT austin and crap it all up, they created "UT- Ese" which is actually a primary hispanic branch. Tbh.

Things such as mexican flags on their cars, obsession with mexican food, failure to assimilate into american culture and just outright disrespect as they make their best attempt at crapping up America, making it just like their homeland.

Huh? Check earnings for finance/economics majors and get back to me.
However, here's what we know UTSA degrees lead to, even engineering:
I am working a low paying job similar to what I worked before I got the degree. UTSA in San Antonio does not have a good engineering program at least when I went to school there. I came out ill prepared to do well in the field.

Engineering is generally a bad choice right now unless you're some sort of prodigy because they are just importing ones with experience from India for 65k a year right now. If you go engineering, you better be in chemical, aerospace, or petroleum something with high growth and you better be a damn prodigy and make good grades too. Besides that, better get into something they can't necessarily import. USA still has some of the best and most advanced business schools, meaning many of our executives are homegrown rather than imported like the engineers because many countries are starting to catch up to us in the sciences. Another good one is anything medical, again something that's in demand and they aren't likely to mass import.

The presidents, CEOs, etc make up about .01% of the people with degrees on that area though. I mean, the pay is good if you land a job, but from what I've seen in So-cal, landing a job is hard in that area. Texas might be different, if it is then more power to you :tu
Even though quite a few engineers get imported, the growth of the job sector is very promising. Very few software architects, system engineers and senior level programmers get imported because of the level of communication needed. If you come from a good school like CIT, you probably have a high probability to land a job in your engineering major. Most "prodigy's" tend to be programmers, the don't even go to school half the time.

like you said, "most come from a good school." you have to be pretty damn smart to get in and complete one of those programs, let's be real here. that's why i said only go into engineering if you're sure you're cut out for it and know what you're getting yourself into. a utsa degree just isn't going to cut it in that field.
