Think about it, the Spurs/Mavs/Lakers have won the West for 13 consecutive years. If the Spurs/Lakers make it in this year, and Dallas signs Deron, the Texas+California dominance can continue for another 10 years

A. Spurs management and scouting allows them to remain as contenders for the future even after the Duncan era

B. Mavericks have cap space and have the management to get things done

C. Stern will giftwrap stars to LA for literally nothing

D. Chuckbrook remains in that shitty franchise that will never win anything

spurs will most likely be in full rebuilding mode in 2 years, Dallas won't get deron most likely and they will use cap on someone else not all star material but the lakers will be contenders for a while as long as they have bynum

OKC will break that run this year. Then it will be "Could the Western teams continue to dominate the West?"

Why? Tony should stay an all-star player by that time and guys like Leonard, Green, Tiago be better than right now. I don't think Manu and Tim would be retired by that time either.
