What is up with him lately, tbh? Any laker fan care to give suggestions? SOB looked like he was ovulating tonight.

He's soft to begin with. Now he has lost a step. Poor combination tbh. I wonder who the Lakers will trade him for this offseason?

I don't understand why he doesn't get post touches.

nigga's resting for them olympics this summer imho its obvious he's been doing his best to avoid contacts which may cause injuries, maybe he knows it's probably his LAST time to play olympics in london this year tbh :cry

This and only this.

Brown uses him as a jumpshooter even from 3 point range .Nice move tbh.

He's not losing a step or at least we can't know it because he's not in the paint anymore

well that's the problem when you have 2 7 footers on the floor. its fucking dumb especially cause potato head rather feed the big titted freak

that's probably why Pop does not play duncan + splitter together

oh and also lakers have no player than can successfully perform a pick n roll with big

:lol lakers

There is no rule against having 2 great post players on the court at the same time. I watch Kobe post up plenty... Pau needs a few more touches. He is a great interior and passer out of the post so if it's to crowded he can still make plays.

Mike Brown is just a fucking moron with the way he is using him.

Pau's play is a big chicken and egg kind of mystery. Does he get too few touches to stay engaged and fades out of the game? Or does he shrink and force his teammates to go away from him? I don't know which comes first but whichever does sets off the next stage in the spiral. The gap between his potential and performance sometimes for a guy with that much experience is mind boggling.

He's on the decline, but the bigger issue is that his game doesn't fit in Mike Brown's system..if you look at his numbers, he had a solid season, his usage was just down, though..

If you look at games where either Kobe or Bynum sat out, Gasol excelled and produced at the rate that we expect from him..

It'll be interesting to see if a team is willing to trade for him..he's still a productive big that will age gracefully, but he's old and has a heavy contract..

If Kobe was barking in your ear 24/7 you'd start to not give a fk either.

Is that why he won 2 rings too?

Stop posting. If i was within reasonable driving distance of you I'd beat you with a hammer. You offer nothing to this board, to the internet, or to mankind.

To answer the op's question he's declining. People who foolishly call the Lakers "contenders" do so b/c in their mind they still think LA has the 2008-10 version of Gasol.

Truth be told he's no longer there and you can't count on him from game-to-game anymore.

Gasol is fine. He just has a new role in Mike Brown's system as stretch 4, and he's just having a hard time embracing it, tbh.
