I think the Spurs should feel more under pressure, if they let this series slip away, they will be know in history for being the first team to lose w/a 3-2 lead (w/2 last games at home)

This actually makes me feel better, 'cause the Pistons don't have "their backs against the wall" anymore. Spurs do.

Tim Duncan should also feel the pressure, if he loses, he will lose a lot of credibility for being the best PF ever.

Manu should feel the pressure, even though he plays hard every game and should be more than satisfied w/his olympic gold medal. He's a winner and he will want to win game 7 more than anyone on that court, beleive it.

GO SPURS!

It's all on the Spurs. They are under pressure to win, the Pistons have a built in excuse, Spurs don't.

No doubt it's on the Spurs...

Two home games to close out a series and you possibly lose them both?? It would be considered one of the biggest choke jobs of all-time...

The pressure is DEFINITELY on the Spurs. The confidence Detroit gained after going 8 years without a win in S.A. is tremendous. HOWEVER, that being said, THE SPURS MUST CLOSE THEM OUT..............EARLY. They can't make a move in the late 3rd quarter or 4th. The Pistons are little more battle-hardened in this scenario I am afraid so it's going to be key that the Spurs go for the throat immediately. :hang

You don't want a close game with Detroit especially in the 4th.

^ Add that to last year and people will never let us Spurs fans forget it. I really hope we win Game 7 just to save our reputation in the Finals. Detroit would be praised, even if they lost the series for becoming the only team down 3-2 to win Game 6 on the road. The Spurs would be embarrassed if they lost. Hopefully that can motivate the Spurs.

This is an easy one.. Spurs.. IF they lose this would go down in history as one of the biggest chokes. No team has EVER lead 3-2 coming home and lost game 6, let alone game 7 too.

Spurs.

3-2 lead, coming home, take multiple leads during the game 6.

Pistons attitude is "no one expects us to win, were on the road, another game 7, weve played more games than the Spurs, we should be more tired than the Spurs"

Spurs can't handle pressure.

Pistons win.

Is that true? Every team who has been up 3-2 coming home has closed out the series in game six?

The last Game 7 of a finals was in 1994. Housten won it and Hakeem got finals MVP. Housten was tied 2-2 but lost Game 5 and were down 3-2 and won games 6 and 7.

Yeah I know that, but that doesn't answer my question.

The Pistons got their one and only win at the SBC Center. The Spurs will NOT lose two in a row here. Their backs are against the wall now and they better come out with their real game and play like we all know they can!

The last team to lose a game six at home was like over 50 years ago Kori. It has happend before however.

Either way, the pressure is squarly on the Spurs.

It's true since the format went 2-3-2 twenty years ago. Only one other team has won on the road trailing 3-2 in the Finals: '54 Rochester or Syracuse Nationals(I forget the name).

Both teams will be under an enormous amount of pressure. The Pistons are defending champs and they are on the road so they will be feeling the pressure no doubt. These Spurs have not been in a game 7 so they are going to be feeling it as well.

Now. let's keep the idiot who wrote on the note board out of the Pistons' lockerroom. That was a STUPID

THING TO DO! That just fed the Pistons' determination. If we find who the idiot was, he needs to be tarred and feathered!

Its game 7. Presure is equal. Both teams are in must win situations.

pressure on both teams, probably more so on the Spurs. I would kill myself if they lost though...it'd be a shame to come so far and blow it. it won't reflect the Spurs i know

The Spurs are.

MadDog73

I would say more pressure on the Spurs, and not just because of the "up 2-0 history" and the false "choke" label. (How can you "choke" when you've won game 5? Loosing two in a row is a choke? Then the Pistons choked first, and the Spurs choked second. At this point, one team will lose, and I dare you to call either team "chokers".)

The pressure is on the Spurs because this team has never faced a game 7 before.
Pistons are used to winning game 7's, they should feel good. After all, they've consistently outplayed the Spurs in the last 4 games (Horry's heroics the exception), and they know they can win in the SBC center. Oh, and for those keeping score, that's now four games in a row the Pistons have scored 95+ on the the Spurs, after the Spurs had held all their last Finals opponents under 90. That's not good, guys :depressed).

I disagree, you can never get used to winning game 7s. you either play and leave it all on the court or you don't.

And if Spurs lose tomorrow they will be knows as chokers. beleive it.
