View Full Version : Michael Jordan is *gasp* actually a pretty good owner.

Two years ago Michael Jordan became the first player to ever own a team, ever since then things have gone way downhill. It's not come to be a saying that Jordan is a terrible owner which is far from the truth.

Michael Jordan bought a roster tailor made to get eliminated from the first round every year, he let vets like the black michilin man(Felton) and Chandler walk for 'nufin. Then gave away thier 2 best players in Wallace and Jackson. All from the advice of Rich Cho, the former Blazers GM and Front office dude from OKC. He knows how to build from the draft and The Bobs tried to be the new thunder, they picked 2 prospects that need work (Kemba and BISMACK BIYOMBOOOOOOO) and skidded to the worst team ever. Granted that's really bad and there's no defence for that, but as it's been said, small market teams gotta rebuild through the draft and if they get Anthony Davis, fortunes will change and everyone will celebrate Jordans greatness.

So don't knock Jordans ownership for losing games, it's the "best" thing to do because that's the only way for them to get a star. Even Cubans said when the Dirk era ends he wants to lose badly to rebuild. As long as the front office stays competent just you wait, the cats will be back with vengence, not next year or the year after but just you wait because it will happen.

I know Davis is no Duncan...but you gotta start somewhere.

The Spurs weren't the Bobcats prior to David or Duncan tbh.

True...but like I said..you gotta start somewhere. Jordan had a shitty slate to start with...you build with the draft, it's well documented.

Imagine a Javale McGee playing up to his potential. That's gonna be Anthony Davis.

Hard to say who exactly he will be compared to. Can't really think of a player who fits the bill that I just described

Letting Chandler walk for nothing is never a good move. :lol

Keep in mind this was when he was an injury on a stick and everybody thought he was done.
