View Full Version : Truthfully LAL fans how worried are you scale 0-10?

Based on history 80% of home teams win games 7's per TNT last PM. Lakers are still the FAR better team (on paper at least) and should win this one easily. However, with the drama queens of Bynum, Metta World Peace and the trending soft play of Gasol on a scale to 0-10 how worried are you?

I would think you should be at level 3 or 4 out of 10 from an outside perspective. There has to be some fear, if only because Karl is one of the smartest coaches around & could put a really intelligent switch out of the air and will have the Nuggets fired up and/or Kobe will try 35 shots or so, no matter how fired up the rest of the team is + Brown is not in Karl's league.

I'd be very worried just because a game 7 loss would devastate the entire city and franchise. It would be the biggest upset in the history of human interaction. But again, it won't happen. No way the Nuggs win. still, I'd be worried at the tiny possibility to be in the history books as the biggest choker for the rest of eternity.

-1. I mean, what is there to worry about? The players may be worried, but I'm not.

We finished a measly 3 games ahead of them. This would not be the biggest upset and surely wouldn't devastate LA. It's not like the Lakers finished 20 games ahead of them.

James Worthy "The Lakers have the worst bench in the NBA & they need to learn to shut up & just play ball…
Bynum “This will be easy to close out”…
Coach Brown “Make sure you pack for Okalahoma because we leave Denver for the next round”…

George Karl is having a field day with all of this…The momentum has shifted…

Are you kidding me my fellow Laker Lovin' brah? I love me some Lakers. It's way too entertaining watching you guys implode every night. Seeing Bynum pout on the end of the bench like a baby back bitch tit biyatch...way too much fun to want you guys getting kicked out of the 1st round. I feeeel the neeeed to see Lakers get humiliated in at least one more round before they exit and leave this year for the big boys to decide.

GO LA!

The 2007 Patriots who murdered 18 teams before losing the Super Bowl highly disagree with you.

If the Lakers lose it's still a pretty big upset just because it's the Lakers but c'mon man.

About this lazy uninspired play carrying over to the next series and being made the Thunder's bitch? 9

And with 2002 still on NBA conspiracy theorists' minds, he knows extra scrutiny will be on the officiating during this game. Better get the best of the best on it.

maybe. but

- no nba team has ever come back from down 1-3
- nuggets have no superstars, not even 1 borderline 1, not even close
- game 7 is in LA
- lakers came in arguably with best frontcourt in the NBA with championship experience, vs freshmen scrubs manimal, kosta, movgoved, mcgee and letfy's wingman

again, settle down lakerfans. no way lakers lose. but it'd be epic :lol

LA will win. Lawson is not going to go bananas again like he did in Game 6, and if the Nuggets don't shit themselves under the pressure of a Game 7 in Staples, then the refs will surely split the difference and make sure the Lakers advance.

No city in NBA history has had 2 teams blow 3-1 leads in the same year. LA just trying to be relevant.

Laker fans should be more pissed than worried that their team is in this situation. Only two things going for them: game 7 is at home and they're the Lakers. If Stern didn't interfere or try to manipulate the game, the Lakers would probably lose game 7.

Feels like 2009 again when the Rockettes took us to 7 games in the 2nd round and we eventually won the title...I'd say a 7 is where I am at given Pau and Bynums major flaws and no Phil Jackson

Yup. That was the game Kobe quit in the 2nd half....just flat out quit in front of all his teammates and basketball world....just left them hanging....quitter. Talk about quitting at the worst time. Did I mention he quit? Quit.....straight up quit on his team in a game 7.
