If anyone else has to preprogam their set (gonna be out of town etc), here is the list per McDonald. I assume the times are Eastern (?)

Game 1: Spurs vs ___, Tuesday, 8:30 p.m., TNT
Game 2: Spurs vs ___, Thursday, 8:30 p.m., ESPN
Game 3: @Clippers or Grizzlies, Saturday, 2:30 pm., ABC
Game 4: @Clippers or Grizzlies, Sunday, 9:30 p.m. or 7 p.m., TNT

The game doesn't start until 8:30pm San Antonio time?!
I didn't know NBA games started after 7:30pm.
Is this Stern trying to maximize rest for Spurs opponent?

So if the potential game 7 is Sunday on TNT that means it's going to be a night game correct? Or does TNT do afternoon games as well?

Sunday 9:30 pm would be ridiculous.

It makes sense if its in LA. Cause that would 730 for them. Doesn't make a lot of sense for Memphis.
As far as I can remember, TNT does not do afternoon games

When we go out west, there will be 9:30 CST starts.
How long have you been watching the NBA?

In the second round of the playoffs, during the week the league always tries to have an East game and a West game on each night in a doubleheader. The East game usually starts at 6 or 6:30 CDT and the West game usually starts no earlier than 8:30 CDT.
This is nothing new.
Just to prove that, here's the early part of last year's 2nd round schedule with start times:
SUN, 5/1 -- MEM @ OKC (12:00 CDT); BOS @ MIA (2:30 CDT)
MON, 5/2 -- ATL @ CHI (7:00 CDT); DAL @ LAL (9:30 CDT)
TUE, 5/3 -- BOS @ MIA (6:00 CDT); MEM @ OKC (8:30 CDT)
WED, 5/4 -- ATL @ CHI (7:00 CDT); DAL @ LAL (9:30 CDT)
THU, 5/5
FRI, 5/6 -- CHI @ ATL (6:00 CDT); LAL @ DAL (8:30 CDT)
SAT, 5/7 -- OKC @ MEM (4:00 CDT); MIA @ BOS (7:00 CDT)
SUN, 5/8 -- LAL @ DAL (2:30 CDT); CHI @ ATL (7:00 CDT)
MON, 5/9 -- MIA @ BOS (6:00 CDT); OKC @ MEM (8:30 CDT)

It was announced when they released the playoff schedule that if the first round series went the distance there would be one b2b in the second round. SA and OKC took care of business, but both other series went the distance.

More than that, the threat of a 2nd Round back-to-back has been a matter of public record since December.
again, just because it is public record doesn't make it right, especially to be "penalized" for other teams not taking care of business.

So we can potentially be in the WCF by next week.
The league is giving LA Lakers b2b games at home in the 2nd round. I know that's not favoritism, lord knows they don't get many games in Staples as it is.

Gotta make up for the shortened schedule; they didn't get as many extras as normal. Also, the opponent for the extra home games actually put up a fight this year; I'm not sure how the Lakers didn't earn a bye in the first round tbh.

We also have 4 teams playing at 3 venues in the west.
