Well, to be fair, I think this is the most exciting semifinal out of the four. But Thunder proving me wrong.

Are the Thunder really this good? I don't think you can depend on jump shots for a 7 game series, but this is a jump-shooting team.

I thought Westbrooke's jumper was suspect. Sure did not look like it.

I think they were killing because they got into the paint a ton.

If Perkins is out for an extended period, that is BIG for the lakers.

Headlines on ESPN use "drained" and "weary" to describe the Lakers. I'm sad that there's no mention of how heroic and Jordanlike Kobe was just a few games ago. They should have worked that in somewhere.

It wasn't just jumpers though. Those were mostly WIDE OPEN looks. Although forcing long 2s is a decent strategy, guys like Durant and Harden will make that shot all day every day if you don't go up and contest.

Plus the Thunder did get into the paint a fair amount in the first half iirc.

Not sure what difference Perkins makes either tbh. Collison and their other bigs can get beaten by Bynum just as well. No need to rush him back imo.

LOL Lakers - Thunder must have watched tapes of Spurs pummelling the LAL the last two meetings of the year!

Worst part for Kobe he was tied for most points on this team. If he is not going to win the series he at least will try to score a lot.

:lol True

If Michael didn't have a feud with a rival player or coach, he invented one. Michael needed a reason -- real or imagined -- to teach his most dangerous rivals a lesson. Yet Michael taught his on the scoreboard. Kobe gets even in the box score.

Real talk - OKC used a lot of bread and butter Spurs offensive sets against the Thunder.

I saw the mid-pick and roll to corner 3 a couple of times.

Also saw a classic back cut to the rim between Harden and Collison that Tim/Tony run.

OKC probably plays more isolation off switches with Westbrook/Durant though, but that's to be expected.
