Lewandowski isn't worth 40 million dollars.

Fox should have looked at picking up the Bundesliga, since NBC is getting the Prem next year.

we get live BL down here, but rarely watch it cause its BL...only a few good teams and world players identifiable only...

It's not any more terrible than Goetze transferring to FC Hollywood.

Gotze had his buyout clause met by Bayern... this is BVB willingly giving away a top player in exchange for a player of lesser quality. They'd be better off selling Reus for his market value than getting Dzeko.

Hate seeing BVB cash in on all their top players either way, tbh

"We have Benzema and Higuain. Higuain will leave, Benzema will stay and two others will come."

Sanchez’s claim that Higuain will exit has led to fresh speculation that Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez could be targeted by the Spanish side, while Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Tottenham’s Gareth Bale are also reportedly under consideration.

Mattheus Oliveira, the son of Brazilian legend Bebeto, is close to completing a move to Serie A giants Juventus.
The 18-year-old - the subject of his father's famous goal celebration at the 1994 World Cup - is currently on the books of Flamengo.
His experience of senior competition is limited, but he has offered enough during his short career to suggest that he has the potential to follow in his father's illustrious footsteps.
Reports in Italy suggest that Juve have seen enough in him to justify a five-year contract, with there only a few minor details left to iron out.
Should a move be put in place, the reigning Serie A champions would acquire another playmaker to add to their already enviable collection of creative talents.
"Everything is going okay," Mattheus' agent Vantuil Rodrigues told Lancenet.
"The last details have been agreed. Only some paperwork is needed to make the negotiations official - the fees and the contract length have been agreed.
"The paperwork should arrive any day now and, when that happens, Mattheus will travel to Italy to undergo a medical.

Robert Lewandowski will sign for Bayern Munich, according to his agent.
Asked on Monday on Poland's TVN24 whether the Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski is moving to Munich, agent Cezary Kucharski replied: "Yes. Robert will join Bayern this summer.
"There is no point in pretending that he will not move to Bayern. Robert wants to leave and that is what will happen.
"It is a matter of time. It could be a done deal within a week or within two to three weeks. We are waiting for a signal from the club. We are working on this deal.
"Robert will join Bayern this summer. There is no point in pretending that he will not move to Bayern. Robert wants to leave and that is what will happen."
Robert Lewandowski's agent Cezary Kucharski
"Robert needs a new challenge. He needs other people around him, a new coach and new motivation. For us it is clear, but we have not signed anything."
The 24-year-old striker said nothing about his plans after Dortmund's 2-1 defeat to Bayern in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Outgoing Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes did however hint after the game that the Poland international would be joining the Bundesliga champions.
Lewandowski was the second top scorer in the Bundesliga this season with 24 goals in 31 games.
He scored all four goals in a 4-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals.
Manchester United had been linked with a summer swoop for Lewandowski but it now appears that Bayern have won the race to sign one of Europe's most highly-rated players.

It seems Real Madrid might be taking the idea of signing Thiago Acántara seriously. According to what Catalan Radio station RAC1 assures, 'Los Vikingos' and the Barça player have already started conversations about the starlet's future with the Madrilenian club.
According to the radio station, Mazinho, the midfielder's father, has already given his go-ahead for an intermediary to start negotiations with 'Los Blancos'.
Thiago Alcántara has a fairly low rescission clause of €18 million, and therefore quite a few of Europe's bigger clubs have taken an interest in the young Barça player.

Manchester City is all out for Jesús Navas. According to Spanish radio station 'Cope', Begiristain and Ferrán Soriano held a meeting this Thursday in Seville with Sevilla sports director, Monchi.
For now there is quite an abyss between what the two camps are looking for. Sevilla is asking for €30 million for the midfielder, while the English have only gone over to Spain with €24 million in their pockets.
Pellegrini, as City's new manager, wants to have Navas as a part of his new project, and it seems that the player is also eager to make a go of it in the Premier League.

Manchester City will not be bidding for Isco after all. Although the Málaga playmaker is one of the names on the wishlist Manuel Pellegrini has handed the Citizens hierarchy, the club's Spanish executive double act, Ferrán Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, believe there is no need to strengthen the team in this area.
Last season City utilised the likes of David Silva, Samir Nasri, James Milner, Sergio Agüero and Yaya Touré - all proven performers on the international stage - in the position behind the frontman.
With City pulling out of the chase, Real Madrid seems to be in pole position to snap up last year's Golden Boy winner.

Edinson Cavani is one this transfer window's big scores. The Uruguayan striker is leaving Napoli, and the bids to sign him have begun.
The latest reports pointed to Chelsea as the frontrunner, but the footballer's mother has provided an unexpected twist with respect to her son's future. "Edi is in talks with Real Madrid and Manchester City."
Cavani's mother did not hold back in her statements to a Montevideo radio station, and assured that her son's future will be settled very soon.
"He'll decide where he's going in two weeks. Napoli will always be in my heart. The Napoli president talked to us about an offer from Chelsea, but there is nothing certain yet," she revealed.

I could understand getting rid of Pipa if you were going after guys like Rooney, Van Persie, Ibrahimovic but fucking Edison Cavani? He's at best at the same level than Higuain.

LOlgerian striker Belfodil going to Inter Milan

According to Gianluca di Marzio Inter and Parma have agreed terms for Algerian forward Ishak Belfodil. The clubs have agreed that Inter will pay 10 million euros for 50% of Belfodil, and Inter will also give Parma Silvestre and Cassano on a loan with an option to buy the players. The deal is depending on whether Cassano will accept Parma as a destination or no. He will get an important role in the team and a three year contract. According to Fcinternews.it Inter save around 8-10 million euros from losing the wages of Cassano and Silvestre, which finances the deal.

Belfodil is a great young talent, but damn Inter got raped :lol

FAMILY FORTUNES ... Gareth Bale's parents have held showdown talks with Spurs supremo Daniel Levy

By PAT SHEEHAN

Last Updated: 30th July 2013

66 (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/5040854/Gareth-Bales-parents-join-in-Tottenham-showdown.html#comment-rig)

GARETH BALE’S world-record transfer has been made a family affair after his mum and dad were spotted going into a meeting with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

The Wales star is the target of a £95million offer from Real Madrid but Levy has so far refused to sell.
Bale and his representatives met Levy yesterday to underline how much the player wants to leave.
But an onlooker was stunned to see the player’s parents also walk into the meeting. Our source said: “I couldn’t believe it when the Bales arrived at the training ground. God knows what they said to Mr Levy.”
Spurs supremo Levy interrupted a family holiday in Florida to make sure he was in London for the quickly-arranged meeting.
It has been claimed in Spain that Levy is also set to meet Real Madrid president Florentino Perez early next week in Miami to further discuss a transfer saga that has become increasingly hostile.
Perez is already in the States, where Real are on a pre-season tour.
Real’s reponse to Spurs’ refusal to do business following their first offer has been to put together a package of money plus two players, Angel Di Maria and Fabio Coentrao.
Yet the clubs differ widely in their valuations of the two makeweights.
Sources in Madrid insist Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas rates Coentrao, 25, as the more useful as he can play either as a left-back or a winger.
Bale has made it clear he wants to move to Spain.
But Levy was furious when midfielder Luka Modric engineered his own move to the Bernabeu last summer and is annoyed at Real’s heavy-handed bid to land wideman Bale.

He came out of River Plate and was sent to Tigre, we wanted to get him back on this transfer window but he prefered to go to Europe. He's a lefty good height (6' 1'' - 1,86 mts) and plays his best as a Stopper on a 3 men defensive line but he can also play as a CB and LB on a natural 4 men line. He's good defending but doesn't give you much on offense (which is a handicap if you plan to play him as a LB).

P/S: Why the fuck did you bold my name instead of mentioning me? :lol

He's good defending but doesn't give you much on offense (which is a handicap if you plan to play him as a LB).

P/S: Why the fuck did you bold my name instead of mentioning me? :lol

thanks daf for the info !

Arsenal, at least according to everything i've seen, is the only club that's put in a bid for him, which means they have no choice but to sell him to the Gunners. RMAO is too busy chasing Bale, and probably won't want to spend another 50+ mil after they finally get him.

Whatever the case, it probably won't go down until the end of August. Rogers/Henry will draw it out as long as they can in order to get the best price. Arsenal can afford it, believe it or not, because they've offloaded 20+ players between their youth/first teams and hoarded all their new sponsorship/stadium money. Hell, even Bendtner is back in the mix with Malaga. So they can pay him 200k a week and still have plenty left over to buy a keeper, DM, and center back.

Also, LOLOLOLOL at Brendan Rogers for talking all this bullshit in the press. All he's been talking about is how Suarez is happy at Merseyside and feeling good - blah blah blah

They're just delaying the inevitable, much like MAN_U (Rooney-->Chelsea) and Sp*rs(Bale-->RMAO)

Finally: Suarez to be sold for £47.5 million (http://www.zimdiaspora.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12431:finally-suarez-to-be-sold-for-p475-million&catid=80:sorts&Itemid=301)

WEDNESDAY, 07 AUGUST 2013 21:06 EDITOR SPORTS (http://www.zimdiaspora.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=80:sorts&layout=blog&Itemid=301)

By Bernard Thompson
Gunners move step closer to finally landing their No 1 transfer target of the summer.
Arsenal are on the verge of sealing a club-record £47.5 million deal for wantaway Liverpool front man Luis Suarez following the Uruguayan’s most recent outburst about his future at Anfield.
http://www.zimdiaspora.com/images/newimg/Suarez-Plead.jpg

The 26-year-old gave an impassioned interview to both the Daily Telegraph and the Guardian on Wednesday morning detailing his exact reasons for wanting to quit the Merseyside giants this summer in order to move to a club competing in the Uefa Champions League next season.
So far, the Gunners have had two bids for the Uruguay international rejected by the Reds, although the second of those offers, valued at £40m plus £1, was still enough to trigger a release clause in the striker’s current contract at Liverpool so as to enable Suarez to enter into negotiations with Arsenal over a possible move to north London.
However, despite the Reds’ insistence so far that their star player will not be allowed to leave Merseyside for a sum of less than the £55m that saw Edinson Cavani join Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer, Suarez’s latest public utterances on the matter have now finally persuaded the club to allow the forward to join Arsenal.
The Gunners and the Uruguay attacker’s agent, Pere Guardiola, the brother of Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, have already met for face-to-face talks in a central London hotel over the weekend to thrash out Suarez’s personal terms on his move to the Emirates, with the two parties agreeing a five-year £150,000-per-week deal.
That contract will see the former Ajax hit man earn more than his current salary at Anfield, where Suarez picks up £120,000 per week after agreeing last August to sign an extension until June 30 2018 on his deal with the Merseysiders.
And now the two clubs are set to reach a compromise figure of £47.5m for the playmaker, who has registered 51 goals and 24 assists in just 96 matches for Liverpool since January 2011, after the Reds accepted that it was going against their own best interests to keep hold of a disgruntled player at the club next season.
But despite seeking a British-record transfer fee of £55m for their prize asset, Liverpool owner John W Henry and chairman Tom Werner are understood to still be happy to settle for a figure of £47.5m, which will see the Fenway Sports Group make an eye-catching profit of £24.7m on the player they bought from Ajax two-and-a-half years ago – Arsenal News.

John W Henry has dealt an emphatic blow to Luis Suárez's hopes of leaving Liverpool by stating the striker will not be sold to Arsenal or to any other European club – for any price – this summer.

Liverpool's principal owner has also told Suárez and his agent, Pere Guardiola, that their attempts to force a transfer have arrived too late in this transfer window. "We are not going to sell Luis," said Henry, on a brief visit to Liverpool. "For all the top clubs it's extremely important [not to sell to a rival] but especially for Liverpool because we're not in Europe this year and have not been in the Champions League for a while. To sell to a rival for those positions, or one of them, would be ludicrous. Liverpool needs to be playing in Europe. It needs to be playing in the Champions League. That's what Liverpool football club is about."

"I'm unequivocal that we won't sell to Arsenal, whatever the bid is," he said. "I have not said it to Stan [Kroenke, Arsenal's majority shareholder] but I had a personal conversation with others at Arsenal and told him [Gazidis] we would not sell to Arsenal."

"He won't be sold even if a foreign club comes in because we do not have time to sign a suitable replacement," he said. "It's a football reason. It's not about finances. That's why at this point, so late in the window, with everyone who's already moved or isn't moving, we can't replace him. So for football reasons we can't sell, and especially to Arsenal."

Henry, NESV's principal owner, issued a statement yesterday in response to the uncertainty over the Spanish pair and to reject claims Liverpool have no money to spend in January. "As everyone knows we are new to English football, but not to sport, and we are studying all options," it read. "Opportunities and value will drive spending in January and in the future. We intend to build on the strength of the current squad, not undermine it. And I can reassure our supporters that we have no intention of allowing the team to be weakened going forward."
