Nah, its pretty even as far as mimicking styles. Its just pointed out and made fun of when caucasians do it. Blacks straighten their hair, 3 6 mafia all wore iron maiden shirts, lil wayne wears skinny jeans, darius rucker sings country, the whole country club style with the golf caps and argile is white doctor as it gets. I dreaded my hair in an attempt to wear long locks because my hair wont grow downward on its own. I remember back when the thing HS ball players did was to neatly fold, starch and iron a shop rag, white rag, anything like that, and hang it from their back pocket. This was about the same time the Chuck Taylors were being played with the tongue down, socks displayed, and the pants rolled up one cuff, barely touching the tops of the high top shoes. Ball players did it so others followed suit. That was before the painters caps and white oxford shirts untucked.
